2003 Audi TT Quattro Roadster
1.8 turbo, 225HP, all wheel drive, 6 speed manual. 60,250 miles. One owner, clear title, all records, receipts, brochures, manuals, etc... Blue with navigation grey interior. Power top with fold up rigid tonneau, plus factory fabric tonneau for cockpit when top's down The top is in perfect shape and not faded Rear glass window with defroster Power pop-up windscreen behind seats Bose premium sound w/ CD changer Leather heated seats Power windows and mirrors Adjustable steering Trip computer Good tires AWD, ABS Cruise control Indoor car cover and all the usual other stuff... This car has been garaged and is in good shape. I kept up with servicing it and have all the receipts. It is my second TT from new and I've always been happy with them. I have my third TT now and this one has to go. I recently had it professionally detailed top to bottom. Overall, the car is in great shape. It's all original with no body work or rust. It' always been here on the northern coast of California. It's never been smoked in. Runs perfect and looks good. It has the usual minor wear: The paint is very good other than a couple very light small scratches that should buff out. There is a very small dimple/dent, about the size of a quarter, on the rocker below the passenger door; you have to be in the right light to see it. A couple of the wheels have some minor curb rash, but not bad. The tires are in good condition. There is little wear on the left wing of the drivers side seat. This is the common leather wear from getting in and out. The stitching is sound. You can see it in one of the pictures. The interior, trunk, and engine bay are in very good, clean condition. The "folding top" icon stays on when the top is up. The Audi dealer says it's the sensor in the windscreen frame. I don't have an Audi dealer near here anymore so it's been difficult for me to get it replaced and I've just lived with it. That being said, the top works perfectly. No other mechanical issues. I've priced it reasonably at or below trade in value according to Kelly Blue Book and NADA Guides with a low reserve. I can help with transport. I've used All American Transport; moveauto-dot-com , and they were great. They were reasonably priced, on time, and most important, they had good communication during transport. You can ship open or enclosed trailer with them. Call them for a quote. The car is in Arcata, CA, 95521. I can meet them with the car for pick up. You can also get bids on Uship-dot-com. If you'd like to have the car looked at by an inspection service I live and work at the same place so scheduling is easy. I've used LemonSquad-dot-com. They were fast and reasonable. I have the car listed locally and I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells locally before the reserve price is met. I have more pictures available. I could only put 24 on the listing. Email me if you'd like to see them. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. 707-822-6641 days On Oct-20-13 at 19:30:32 PDT, seller added the following information: |

2014 Audi R8 V8
Tue, 19 Aug 2014Where to even begin with the Audi R8 V8.
Let's start with the Ferrari 458 Italia, a car that doubles the base price of the Audi. It's much more fun to drive than it is to talk about; discussions among enthusiasts usually begin with someone saying, "It's amazing!" and end with everyone else agreeing. Opposite that is the vast, swirling nebula of cars that are often more fun to talk about than they are to drive.
In between, there are very few cars that are as fun to discuss as they are to drive, and this Audi is one. It's a car that challenges our notions about its actual competitive set and, even better, its philosophical competitive set, its driving experience, its price, its future, its present viewed from the future, and its verifiable and/or potential pedigree.
Tom Kristensen walks through a perfect lap of Le Mans in Forza 5
Wed, 11 Jun 2014One of the best ways of learning a new track, aside from driving it, is to hear someone that's intimately familiar with it give you a good walkthrough. That's just what you'll get here, as the winningest driver in 24 Hours of Le Mans history, Tom Kristensen, walks you through the Circuit de la Sarthe's high-speed, 8.5-mile strip of pavement.
Kristensen is dubbed over scenes of drivers from a Forza Motorsport 5 contest lapping the track at the wheel of an Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro, adding a bit of visual sense to the Danish drivers description of the track.
With the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans kicking off this weekend, this is just the sort of video you'll want to watch to get you in the mood. Take a look below, and then let us know what you think in Comments.
Audi A3 Clubsport Quattro concept bringing its 525 horses to W?rthersee
Thu, 15 May 2014It's almost late May, and you know what that means: the last of the snow has melted, the Stanley Cup playoffs are in full swing, the flowers are blooming, and the performance-car faithful are descending on Wörthersee in Austria for the annual GTI-Treffen.
Not only is the Wörthersee Tour (as the automaker calls it) a chance for enthusiasts to show off their rides, it's also a prime opportunity for the Volkswagen Group to show some of its most dedicated customers what it can do. Past meets have given us such notables as the Audi A1 Clubsport Quattro, Volkswagen GTI W12-650 and Skoda Fabia RS 2000 Roadster, to name just a few. And now Audi has emerged as the first VW Group brand to reveal what it has in store.
It's called the A3 Clubsport Quattro, and seems to offer a pretty clear indication of what we should expect of the next RS3. The concept is based on the S3 sedan, but swaps out its 2.0-liter turbo four for a retuned version of Audi's sweet 2.5-liter turbocharged inline-five, retuned to produce a massive 525 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque.
