I am selling a very rare and highly desired 2000 Audi TT Quattro (AWD – great for winter) with Denim Blue Pearl Exterior on Grey interior. It is a 5 speed manual transmission that has been maintained very well. The interior is in great shape and it has the Bose Speakers. It also has heated seats which is a must have for the winter. Below are some quick notes about the car. -183K Miles -upgraded head lights with LED’s -New tires with 80% tread remaining -Just passed inspection 8/15/2014 -Brand new Rear Sway Bar Links installed 8/20/2014 -New Timing Belt at 159K miles (Have records) -Waterpump, Radiator, Thermostat, Belts, and more at 159K Miles -Power Steering Flush @ 161K Miles -Brake Flush @161K Miles -Fuel Filter @ 161K Miles -Front Pads and Rotors at $161K Miles -Oil changed at 182K Miles - 2 Keys with Records and full service manual I have many more records for the car. The above work cost over $3,000+ alone. The car has been painted and you can tell near the rear pillar, there is a small amount of chipping. The car drives great and has been maintained. The only thing the car needs is a driver site strut mount ($20 online). You can hear it when you hit bumps at 20-40MPH, not a big issue. It will also need a new passenger grill insert ($60 online) and the bumper has a crack at the bottom. The insert simply pops in the front of the bumper, very easy. I have listed the car at a very competitive price in order to sell it fast. This car is hard to find at this price that has been maintained. Please call 919-539-3768 for any questions. |

Audi SQ7 coming, will have electric turbo
Sun, 27 Jul 2014Formula 1 and endurance racing are already harvesting energy from turbos on the track, and now it's apparently time for a similar idea of boosting the efficiency of forced induction to hit the streets in a high-performance, diesel SUV.
In a recent interview with the UK's Autocar, Audi technical boss Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg let the big news slip. "The new Q7 will be available in the market next year but the electric turbo will come a bit later in the Audi SQ7 available in 2016," he said. The e-turbo system was already rumored for the premium SUV but for the standard model, not this just-announced performance version.
Audi has been experimenting with the e-turbo system for a little while, as an electrically driven supercharger. It showed up on the RS5 TDI concept that used a 3.0-liter, twin-turbocharged diesel V6 plus the electric system to diminish turbo lag. In that application, it provided an impressive 385 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque and an alleged sprint to 62 miles per hour in 4 seconds. Although, Dr. Hackenberg didn't make it clear if this was the exact layout for the SQ7.
Sunday Drive: Volvo hits a crossover home run, and people still love sports cars
Sun, Sep 24 2017Looking back at the week that just was clearly tells us at least three things. First, crossovers don't have to be boring. Second, people still love sports cars, from the attainable (Audi TT RS) to the fanciful (Mercedes-AMG GT C). And finally, the traditional German trio of premium luxury brands had better not rest on their laurels, because credible challengers are coming in from every direction. The biggest reveal of the week, at least judging by the interest of Autoblog readers, was the Volvo XC40. Not only is the little 'ute a looker, it introduces some innovative new buying/leasing schemes designed to appeal to an audience accustomed to trading in and trading up every couple of years. Think of Volvo's flat-fee lease as you would a smartphone contract, and you'll be on the right track. Genesis looks to have a hit on its hands in the form of the G70 sport sedan. We took a Korean-spec model for a spin and found a lot to like about the upstart contender. We can't wait to sample one here in the United States to see how it stacks up against the Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, and Mercedes-Benz C-Class. In other news, we're still really excited to see a production Ford Ranger Raptor. But if you just can't wait for the official reveal — it's OK, neither can we — take a look at the renderings in our post down below. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. Audi TT spy shots reveal revised lighting elements
Wed, 29 Jan 2014As we inch closer to an expected Geneva debut for the next-generation Audi TT, our latest round of spy photos are starting to give us an even better look at Audi's latest sports car. This time out, we're getting more details on the car's head and taillights.
It's safe to say that the new headlight design will not incorporate the twin rally lights we see mounted on the next TT's grille, but our spy photos do show off the wide, angular new lights in even greater detail than previous photos. The rear lights, meanwhile, look like they'll retain a similar shape to what's seen on the current car, while new LED details lend a degree of freshness to the look.
As we mentioned, we're predicting Audi will debut the next TT at the 2014 Geneva Auto Show in March. We expect, though, to have more on the car before that time. Stay tuned.
