2008 Audi S6 - Low Mileage - Garage Kept - $34,888 (Bay Area)

Original owner - Black Exterior/Interior - 28k Miles

To understand the essence of this vehicle, you will need to put your hands behind the wheel and the foot on the gas pedal. For a relatively heavy vehicle (as most Audi's are because of the quattro system) the S6 handles with amazing agility not to mention a very distinctive engine sound. This was the initial S6 model with the Gallardo V-10 engine which has been detuned.

2017 Audi Q7 2.0 is $5,800 cheaper than the least-expensive V6

Wed, Oct 19 2016

Audi has announced that it will add an entry-level Q7 model with a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine. With a starting price tag of $49,950 for a 2.0 Premium, it's a substantial $5,800 less than a 3.0 Premium, which starts at $55,750. With less money comes less power. In contrast to the V6's 333 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, the turbo-four only offers 252 ponies and 273 lb-ft of torque. However, Audi says the 2.0 is half a second quicker to 60 mph than the entry-level V6 model from 2015. That model accelerated to 60 in 7.7 seconds, so expect a low 7-second time from the turbo-four. You'll probably want to spring for the 3.0 if you want to tow. The four-cylinder will tow up to 4,400 pounds with the towing package, which is much less than the V6's 7,700-pound capacity. Although power and towing ability are less in the 2.0, gas mileage goes up. Current V6 models are rated at 21 miles per gallon overall for city and highway mileage, and the four-cylinder improves that by 1 mpg. It's not much, but it's still a little bonus to the big up-front discount. So if you need an Audi Q7, and saving money is your priority, the new 2.0-liter iteration may be the version for you. Refreshed Audi A6 gets ready for Paris debut

Fri, 21 Mar 2014

The Audi A6 remains a solidly luxurious choice in the deeply competitive executive sedan segment, duking it out with the Mercedes-Benz E-Class, BMW 5 Series and Lexus GS, among others. Having been on sale since 2011, though, it's starting to become just a tiny bit stale. Cue the refresh.
Expected to make its debut in October at the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the long-roof Avant/Allroad variant shown here gives us our first glimpse at some of the tweaks Audi has in store for its A6 range as a whole.
In general, this is pretty standard refresh stuff - new headlights that retain the same general shape as the current car but add a new DRL pattern, while there are also some subtle tweaks to the front fascia. The rear taillights have also been freshened (although as only the A6 sedan is sold in the US, it's likely the taillights we see will be different), and some minor changes have been made to the rear bumper. According to our spies, the cabin and MMI infotainment system could see some tweaks, while the oily bits under the hood could be in for for some minor changes as well.

Audi A6 gets styling, powertrain tweaks

Thu, 04 Sep 2014

The Audi A6 is already a fairly handsome, German luxury sedan, but the whole range is receiving some styling updates in Europe this fall. Audi's US arm would not directly confirm which of these updates will be coming to America, instead just telling us that an updated A6 will be coming next year.
On the outside, the tweaks are fairly minor. The company's single-frame grille, which shows up throughout the model lineup, gets some very subtle styling changes, and the lower bumper and its air intakes are also reshaped. More obviously, the headlights have a new form with the LED running lights cutting through them in roughly the shape of a T, as opposed to outlining them, as before. A similar shape is also used for the updated taillights, and there are now rectangular exhaust outlets around back, as well. In profile, the side sills also get a harder crease toward the rear of the sedan.
Inside, things are kept generally the same, as well. There's a new Flint Gray interior color for the A6 and Salsa Red for the S6. But the biggest change is a power-retracting eight-inch infotainment system using the Nvidia Tegra 30 graphics chip. The optional night vision assist system is also improved with new functions, according to Audi.
