2002 Audi S4 Quattro 3.0L
Single Turbo 6-Speed

Background:
I am the second owner of this beautiful, very low mileage S4. Bought from the original owner after being garage stored for over 9 years. The entire car has been professionally built at 034 Motorsport in Fremont, CA. This IS NOT a test mule, this is the final result after months of testing and several prototype builds on various other shop cars.   It features many one off and hand made parts unique to this build. This is a 100% turn key, ready to drive car and does not need any further maintenance, tweaking, or tuning. All of the OEM features have been retained on the car, such as OEM fog lights, brand new OEM belly pan, complete and working A/C, full size spare, charcoal canister cover (now covers two 044 fuel pumps), and OEM auto leveling headlights.  It has been my daily driver, and is the most well built daily driven single turbo S4 in the country. Power Spec’s
Custom 034 Motorsport tuning featuring:

ECU #1 412whp on California 91 octane and 18psi of boost on 034’s Mustang dyno, calculated to 500hp at crank. 5,000 RPM anti-lag programmed in as well. This is the daily driven tune.

ECU #2 500+whp on 100 octane, over 600 at the crank. 26psi of boost, 5,400rpm anti lag set up.  This is an aggressive race tune, but is not too bad on the street either.

To put these dyno numbers in perspective, and supercharged B7 RS4 on 100 octane makes 505whp on this dyno, while APR rates this kit at 688whp. This is a “heartbreaker” mustang dyno.

Why selling:
This build was done to showcase the awesome functionality, power, and beauty the 034 STK has when it is properly put together and built up. It was also a showcase of my own craftsmanshift and fabrication abilities. I am selling it in order to fund another big project I am waiting to start. This is the second single turbo B5 S4 that I am offering up for sale. The first build was sold a little over a year ago; I am still in regular contact with the buyer, offering both technical support and suggestions for adapting the car to his specific needs. The same support is offered for this build.

This car is also built clean and completely reversible. The car can be returned to 100% stock if this is desired by the future owner. I can provide a complete parts list of what is needed to do the conversion back.   I welcome buyers to come take a look at the car personally, serious buyers (cash in hand) I would be happy to take for a ride and show some of the cars features, such as anti-lag.

2017 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro Second Drive

Wed, Mar 16 2016

Never mind the impending bubble burst, it's technology's time and Audi couldn't be happier. The 2017 A4 is the latest attempt to prove beauty and brawn can't beat intelligence outright. And this is the company's best case in 20 years. For two decades, the A4 has been the backbone of Audi's lineup and key in its resurgence in the post-Unintended Acceleration days. This car has managed to build up a successful following by being an alternative to the more popular BMW 3 Series and Mercedes-Benz C-Class while being nearly as good, if not actually better, than the competition. Audi chose to stake a claim in simple clothes covering technology that was more intuitive than some, being different without being difficult. But Audi is as much a part of the establishment as its big rivals now, so it's not getting any alternative breaks anymore. It's the young tech startup that's finally a grownup – and learned to dress like one. While Jonathon Ramsey got to drive this new A4 last fall in Italy, Audi sent me to San Diego last week to drive the US-spec model that goes on sale in a couple of weeks. And, in short, if you liked the old A4, you'll really like this one. If you liked the old A4, you'll really like this one. The fact this model is known internally at Audi as "B9" is a coincidence when you think about its exterior design. The new A4 is certainly attractive, but you'll have to be a huge Audi aficionado to differentiate this over the old car at a glance. And I dare you to find someone who's actually offended by any part of the design. Some creases lower down on the side of the new car help eliminate the bloated look of the outgoing model, without adding too much fuss. Audi still has Acura beat in the "precision" race. Other new details of note are a wider grille and slimmer headlights (xenons are standard, full LEDs optional) that make the front of the A4 look lower than before, and new sequential turn signals out back that are just fun to watch in traffic. Changes are far more noticeable inside. The tall, somewhat slab-sided dash of the old car is gone and replaced by something with a more airy feel that we've seen in the TT and Q7. There's less of a black dash to get in the way of the expansive windshield and generous side glass, all unusual in today's automotive landscape. You're going to enjoy the fact you can see out of the A4.

Audi imagines a world where mechanics are zombies

Mon, Mar 2 2015

Warewolves, vampires, lab-created monsters... they've all come and gone from the silver screen, but the latest trend in apocalyptic popular media centers around zombies. And that's the theme Audi has tapped for its latest ad. The television commercial is called "Mechanics," and as you may have guessed by now, they're the zombies the German automaker is depicting. The spot was created to encourage Audi owners (like the one in this A5) to have their vehicles serviced at authorized dealers rather than taking them to independent garages that may not be after your brains, but might like a crack at your pocket book, at least (as if dealerships aren't). The commercial was created for Audi by Thjnk Berlin GmbH and directed by Sebastian Strasser for RadicalMedia, and is worth a watch for the laugh alone. Related Video:

Audi joins the car-sharing party with Shared Fleet

Thu, Oct 27 2016

Seeing the success Zipcar and Daimler's Car2Go, more auto manufacturers are cutting out the middleman and jumping into the car sharing business. General Motors, Ford, and BMW have all introduced or announced their own programs. And now Audi has now thrown their hat into the ring with its Shared Fleet program. Like its competitors, Shared Fleet will be accessed through an app. The fleet consists of a mere three all-new and fully loaded 2017 Audi A4s and will be rolled out in a small pilot program in Durham, North Carolina. Audi plans a nationwide fleet for sometime in 2017. Through the app, customers will be able to locate and unlock vehicles. Pricing is currently unknown, but it is likely to be based off the time used, not the distance driven. The pilot program will be based at American Underground, a technology incubator in North Carolina. This will give Audi the chance to get the program into the hands of tech savvy users who have likely used competing programs. More than 700 employees at 200 companies are based at the facility. This isn't Audi's first foray into the car rental business. They previously invested a large amount into Silvercar. They also operate Audi on Demand in San Francisco, a similar program to Shared Fleet. With Audi on Demand, users can drop cars off at their destinations. Related Video:
