Around 7/29/13 this car was involved in an accident, and instead of the Insurance Company paying to repair this vehicle, they chose to sell it damaged, and as a result this Audi R8 was given a “SALVAGE TITLE / REBUILT TITLE”. I have spared no expense in putting this R8 back to it’s original condition. Car was hit right in the front center core support, and thus missed the structural front frame rails. I replaced the front core support with a new Audi part, also bumper, hood and misc. small parts. Original fenders were not damaged. Car looks and runs absolutely super!

Must see to appreciate, will not last long, and still has it's "New Car" smell. The interior is absolutely beautiful. The seats show no wear at all. The interior is very clean, very fresh, No smoke or foul odors. The dash is in great condition. All the gauges function properly and the digital display looks great. I tried all the buttons located on the dash and door panels and everything seemed to function properly. The door panels are all in great shape and all the power windows work properly. The Radio works, and the speakers sound great. Paint is absolutely beautiful, NO scratches, NO dings, NO dents!

A multi-vehicle crash in Los Angeles left a $280,000- McLaren 650S Spider mangled and two hospitalized, reports KTLA5. The Los Angeles Police Department suspects street racing caused the incident. The crash occurred just outside of Hale Charter Academy in Woodlawn Hills on Tuesday night. According to eyewitness statements, the 650S Spider was traveling at a high rate of speed in a race against a black Dodge Charger or Challenger before colliding with an Audi (possibly an A6), leaving the Audi heavily damaged. The Dodge fled the scene before police arrived. The latest issue for Volkswagen affects another 800,000 vehicles, and this time its for irregularities in CO2 emissions certifications. VW estimates this issue could cost the company $2.2 billion to fix. The company officially makes no specific mention of which engines are covered, the models they are in, or even where they are located. VW discovered the situation during its ongoing internal investigation, and, according to the automaker, "it was established that the CO2 levels and thus the fuel consumption figures for some models were set too low during the CO2 certification process." Most of the affected vehicles are diesels, and the company is now reaching out to "the responsible type approval agencies" to figure out the next step. While VW isn't officially confirming which models and engines are involved, Automotive News reports that it affects some 2012 and later VW, Audi, Seat, and Skoda models with the company's 1.4-, 1.6-, and 2.0-liter diesel engines, as well as the 1.4-liter ACT gasoline engine. The issue mainly affects vehicles sold in Europe. "The Board of Management of Volkswagen AG deeply regrets this situation and wishes to underscore its determination to systematically continue along the present path of clarification and transparency," CEO Matthias Muller said in the announcement. Volkswagen Group of America spokesperson Jeannine Ginivan was able to provide some further clarification to Autoblog. "This is not related to US-certified vehicles," she said. One week after a leaked sketch ran on these very pages, Audi has introduced the latest member of a "potential TT family," according to Audi board member Dr. Ulrich Hackenberg. This is the TT Sportback Concept, a five-door, 400-horsepower version of the brand's stylish sports car and at this point, it looks darn likely to herald the debut of a third body style for Audi's design icon. Unveiled at the expansive Volkswagen group night celebration ahead of the 2014 Paris Motor Show, the TT Sportback Concept is the most evolved version of a form factor that's seen a slow striptease throughout 2014, first with the Allroad Shooting Brake Concept in Detroit and, more recently, in the Offroad Concept from the Beijing Motor Show. For Paris, the car being shown by Audi is absent traditional concept car traits like oversized wheels, miniscule mirrors and bizarre interior treatments, giving it a far more production ready appearance than either of the previous TT-based concepts.
