Hello,
Here is my beloved Audi Allroad 2001 with only 71K miles for sale.
The car is in great shape mechanically. It has been in the NY area since new. Always highway driven and adult driven. No teenagers, no heavy footed drivers.
The car is recently serviced in Audi dealer and everything works great with the exception of a few very minor things which I never bothered  . THE AIR SUSPENSION WORKS GREAT.  This is the most important feature of this car and if you are looking for this type of car, of course you know about it. It has been serviced just a few months ago with all new Audi parts as well as the several front end parts. All tie-rods, upper bushings, links etc are new as well as new set of tires with less than 3000 miles in the front and less than 10K miles in the rear ( my wife hit a pothole and one of the tires ballooned on the side so I changed both front tires as a result). Tires are four season Coopers and they are the best four season tires for the snow )

The car is large, incredibly comfortable and quiet. It packs serious torque and power with a twin turbo 2.7 liter engine. I just changed the synthetic oil and the old oil came crystal clear. Even though I use the synthetic oil that is supposed to last 15000 miles, I always change it every 3000. It costs about 150 dollars to change it but I think it is worth the investment.

The car has minor scratches, dings etc which I never bothered with since in NYC someone is sure to open a door on you no matter what, but the interior is very clean. I have two sets of mats- snow and carpet. The car has every option imaginable from heated seats to dual zone ac to rear ac to who knows what. If you live in a snow region or go skiing, this is your car. I dont even bother to dig the car out, I just raise the level to the highest and drive over the snow. The car is fully off road shielded on the bottom even though we never really went  off roading :)

The air suspension is an amazing feature. Some people worry it breaks easily and they are perhaps right. I made sure it was serviced and never had problems. I know there are a lot of aftermarket parts that are very cheap and do a great job but I always opted for Audi ( expensive stuff, I must confess)

My loss is your gain. This is a great car that will serve you well for many years to come. The only repair it will need is the rear break pads. The dealer told me they were low and I did not bother to change them as I have a new car coming, but it is $300 if you do it in the dealer of 120 outside ( probably the same exact parts).

You are welcomed to have the car inspected before bidding on it. I can also give you a test drive in NYC. I will deliver for free within 50 Miles once full payment is received. I can also hold the car for a maximum of 7 days after the payment. I can store it at your expense of $20/day after the seven day period.

This is a used car and is being sold as is. Please do not assume anything and ask any question you may have. I am selling the car because we are getting a new Audi Q7 which has very similar features but it has a third row seat. That's all. Otherwise, this is my absolute favorite car and I loved every minute of having it. This is incredible luxury and class under 10K. Good luck bidding.

2018 Audi SQ5 will use 48-volt electric supercharger

Tue, Jun 14 2016

It seems like 48-volt electric systems and electric compressors are becoming relatively mainstream, and Audi will be adding another vehicle powered by this emerging technology in 2017, according to comments Audi powertrain chief Oliver Hoffman made to Autocar. Hoffman said the upcoming SQ5, probably a 2018-model-year vehicle, will use a version of the electric compressor technology that debuted on the SQ7. While the SQ7 uses two gas-driven turbochargers and one electric compressor, the SQ5 will likely only use one conventional turbo and one e-compressor. That should allow it to make 365 hp, but 390 hp is possible from the system and may hint at room for a more powerful SQ5 Plus down the road. Remember, the European SQ5 uses a 3.0-liter TDI engine, and that's the same basic engine that will power the new SQ5 with the addition of the new forced induction system and 48-volt electrics. And also remember that the US-market SQ5 uses a supercharged 3.0-liter gasoline engine, not the TDI unit, which is one of the reasons it's still on sale in the wake of the TDI scandal. Torque is the real differentiator: the current US-market SQ5 makes 354 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque, while the current Euro-market SQ5 Plus makes a massive 516 lb-ft. No word yet on how the dual-compressor system on the upcoming SQ5 will affect torque numbers, but expect the new engine to again have considerably more twist than its gas-powered US-market counterpart. Junkyard Gem: 1987 Audi 5000

Wed, Sep 7 2016

The third-generation Audi 100 introduced for the 1983 model year was sold as the Audi 5000 in the United States. Sales of this high-end German sedan went pretty well ... until 60 Minutes ran a piece called "Out of Control" in late 1986, convincing many viewers that the 5000 was murderously defective. Yes, it was the original Unintended Acceleration debacle, decades before the one that cost Toyota big yen, and it slaughtered American Audi sales. Today's Junkyard Gem had the misfortune to be sitting in an Audi showroom while the echoes of the argle-bargle over the 5000 controversy still reverberated, its price dropping while potential buyers headed into the arms of nearby Mercedes-Benz and BMW dealers. Still, someone bought this car, which would have been a great Colorado winter machine with its 5-speed and Quattro all-wheel-drive system, and it ended up racking up more miles than 98 percent of cars sold in 1987. The presence of an ignition key in a junkyard car usually indicates that it was a trade-in or insurance total. A high-mile, 29-year-old Audi isn't worth much at auction, so this one ended up here. All the automatic-equipped 5000s got scary warning stickers on the shifters, among other recall-mandated changes, and Audi ended up using the European-market 100 name on these cars starting in the 1989 model year . Audi A7 getting nip and tuck

Tue, 21 Jan 2014

It's been less than two years since the Audi A7 first went on sale in the US, but European buyers have been able to enjoy the sleek and stylish hatchback for twice as long. As such, Audi is preparing to give its A7 a mild refresh with tweaked exterior styling, but we're also expecting some of the features found in the all-new 2015 Audi A8 to possibly trickle down to the A7.
From what we can tell in these spy shots, the A7 is getting a minor facelift that includes a restyled front fascia and new headlights, which will likely boast Audi's new Matrix LED system. At the rear of the car, similar changes have been made with a fascia that now gets integrated outlets and different taillights that have a Lamborghini-like display.
Not apparent in these images - but still a good bet for production - we'd expect to see the new A7 get some of Audi's updated engines or new driver assist technologies. No definite word as to when we'll be seeing the refreshed A7 in person, but considering how close to production ready as this car seems to be, our bet is on the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
