2007 Audi A6 172,000 Miles Low Low Reserve Here is your chance to purchase a nice German luxuary vehicle at an affordable price. I purchased this vehicle from the local Audi dealer and it runs and drives very well. Free free to come and inspect the vehicle. This car has lots of life left and will make a great daily driver. Everything performs as it should. I will try and list every discrepancy that I see with the vehicle: * TPMS light is on. This is the tire pressure monitor system. I am sure a new sensor on one of the tires is needed, they run about $40 dollars each * Slight door dings on the passenger rear door, I am sure a dent less paint guy can get them out. * Slight paint fading on roof in front of sunroof, some restore color wax may help cover it up, it is not bad at all. * Stain in leather of passenger front seat, I have not tried any strong cleaners, did not want to damage the leather. * Fading of leather on the driver side seat, looks like it is caused by just the wear of the seat from getting in and out. * Rear Passenger Tire will need to be replaced soon. Has wear on it and will need replacing. This car has a $6000 dollar trade in value and an $8800 dollar retail value. The reserve is set very low and will sell to the highest bidder. I have been personally driving this car for the past month and everything works well on it and it gets great gas mileage. Please note I try and list everything that is minutely wrong with the vehicle. Overall this is a good car that just needs some TLC. Please feel free to come and inspect this vehicle and test drive it. I can be reached at 601-955-4040 or emailed with any questions, my name it Troy. |

New Audi Sport Quattro Laserlight geeks out with mad lumens
Wed, 08 Jan 2014It's safe to say that, at least as far as automotive companies go, Audi's Sport Quattro Laserlight concept car is stealing the show here at CES in Las Vegas. The car's 700-horsepower hybrid powertrain and carbon-fiber bodywork mean that it would go like stink if it were ever allowed to turn a wheel, and the shapely coupe stance looks every inch the part of a modern-day super coupe, too. Better yet, the laser-powered headlamps that are the crowning glory of the concept car are actually slated for production at some point in the not-distant future.
We're talking about lasers here, folks. I don't know about you, but if you had told the 10-year-old, Real Genius-watching version of me that there'd one day be a car with lasers for headlights, well, I'd have wanted one of those things, pretty bad.
Anyway, Audi's lasers may not be able to ignite a giant pack of Jiffy Pop from space, but they are set to be the new standard for illumination on the road. The laser lights are nearly three times as bright and beam twice as far as current, top-notch LED high beams and were called "safer, sharper and more efficient" compared with existing technologies. That "safer" part works on two levels: the brighter beams offer far better visibility, naturally, but Audi also tells us that they won't dazzle oncoming drivers like traditional high beams will. That means you can drive with the maximum illumination at all times. Cool stuff, here at CES.
Choose your own adventure in Audi's next Super Bowl commercial
Fri, 25 Jan 2013Audi has a 60-second spot planned for this year's Super Bowl to promote its S6 sedan, but exactly which spot will air is being put in the hands of Internet users. The ad follows a high schooler as he "embarks on one of the most pivotal moments of his adolescence: prom night." The spot is fixed up to the pivotal moment when he steals a kiss from the prom queen. From that moment, there are three possible endings.
Today, up until 11:59 pm, Audi is running three different versions on its YouTube channel and you can vote on which ending you'd like to see during The Big Game. The winning spot will run on YouTube before the game and then run in the first ad break after kickoff during the Super Bowl. Coca-Cola is running a similar interactive campaign, although its potential endings will involve cowboys, showgirls and a post-Apocalyptic badass, none of which we expect to make it into Audi's prom night spot. Scroll below to view all three alternate ending videos and cast your vote.
Audi considering turbo option for longer, wider Hurac?n-based R8
Mon, 10 Mar 2014The debut of the Lamborghini Huracán was (and remains) big news in and of itself, but equally as exciting is the imminent arrival of the Audi R8, which the Huracán presages. While the two will share a common architecture, don't expect that new R8 will simply be a cheaper version of the Huracán (like the current one arguably is to the Gallardo).
For one, the next R8 will be larger than the Huracán. According to emerging intelligence, Audi will make its sports car both longer and wider than the Lamborghini version. It'll also share the new Lambo's innovative carbon-fiber structure that will replace both the firewall and central tunnel. But to power it all, Audi will get more creative.
The next R8 will, like the current model and like the Huracán, offer a V10 engine at the top of the range. It will also offer the same 4.2-liter V8 as the outgoing model. But that won't be the end of the matter. Word has it that Audi is also working on a smaller, turbocharged engine to offer in certain markets that mandate smaller-capacity engines.
