hi and thnx. here is a real nice running audi wagon. it is an Avant Quattro that drives as good as it looks... smart black paint, tan leather, 146k miles, full power, ABS, AWD, moon-roof, factory correct wheels, cargo cover, air-bags, windows, locks, cruise, tilt, full gauges and a lot more ~!~

you know the minute you slide into the seat that you are behind the wheel of a finely built and German crafted car, Audi is no joke, and after fighting other car makers in the markets in Europe and USA, they rightly deserve some credit. fine car, well balanced, quality throughout and a pleasure to drive. clean, smart, sharp, comfortable and a blast to drive. the 3.0 V6 pulls like a small V8, tranny shifts out great and cruises with no effort. suspension is fine, brakes with confidence, steers straight and true. plus the security of AWD 24/7, which audi actually pioneered back in the 1980's when they coined the term "Quattro". it is a benchmark car, from a good home and shows great. hey, who needs to spend $55,000 for a good car these days? not you or me, find a great Audi like this and laugh all the way to the bank~!~ style, ride, safety... you got it.

but, this is not a new car... you have some issues which I am happy to disclose and share. the AutoCheck report shows 1 accident ( my wife's Acura shows 2, she backed into a car at the mall, I hit a gas pump at Cumberland Farms. ) there is no damage left unrepaired, there is no total loss, no fire, no flood, etc. you have a front  bumper repaint  and a newer headlight, it likely went through the insurance company. that's it. the tires are showing wear, but normal and even. the center armrest has a broken tab and needs repair, front drivers seat surface show signs of wear and use. a/c kicks on but blows warmish (we just had an 85 degree day here and I wished for a little more ice). I have one key and remote, owner manuals are incomplete.

to be safe, I had a vibration issue checked at the tire store, nothing; then went to the Swedish car guy and he recommended new sub-frame bushings and bolts ( go figure) and when checking for codes, he found a faulty 02 sensor on the left, which I replaced (3.5 hrs!). total was $500... car runs and drives great.  a well cared for car with good service history. I do not have records, only the receipts for work I did.

around town or blasting down the highway, do it Audi style and with all wheel drive. great car and low eBay price. bid and buy, drive it home. car, keys, title, remote, booklets, bill of sale... you are all set. the car is available anytime for you to drive and inspect. it is as shown and at my house, why not come by and drive it to your home?

Audi pits Star Trek's new Spock versus the original

Tue, 07 May 2013

The only thing that makes a sci-fi geek happier than William Shatner and Patrick Stewart in the same room is when two Spocks collide. Audi has somehow managed to do just that ahead of the release of the second film in this historic franchise's new go-round called Star Trek Into Darkness, which opens in theaters nationwide on May 17th.
We won't spoil the fun (you can, and should, watch it yourself below), suffice it say that the original Spock, Leonard Nimoy, steals the show from the franchise's new Spock, Zachary Quinto. The short video has the two Vulcans battling wits in a series of challenges that quickly comes to involve cars, but Audi manages to outwit them both in the final scene by leaving these logical beings with an emotion that resembles amazement.
This is the second summer blockbuster that Audi has tied its four rings to, the other being Iron Man 3. Whereas Tony Stark's garage and the Marvel universe have more Audis per square mile than people, we aren't expecting to see an Audi logo on the warp drive of the USS Enterprise in this latest Trek tale.

Audi's Q8 Concept previews a 2018 personal luxury crossover

Mon, Jan 9 2017

Audi revealed the Q8 Concept here at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, and it's just as we expected: a Q7 with frameless windows, an oversized grille, and a rakish "coupe-like" roofline. This concept is an exaggerated example of a vehicle that will almost certainly enter production to do battle with BMW's vanity luxury utility, the X6, and Mercedes-Benz's GLE Coupe. The coupe moniker doesn't really apply, despite the German automakers' best attempts to redefine the word, but otherwise the Q8 Concept delivers. It's two inches shorter overall than a contemporary Q7, on a similar wheelbase, so the basic proportions of the thing should make the jump to production. View 14 Photos The driveline is equally plausible: a plug-in hybrid setup pairing a 3.0-liter TFSI V6 with a 17.9-kWh lithium-ion battery. The concept's V6 hypothetically makes 333 horsepower and 368 lb-ft of torque, and a single electric motor integrated into the eight-speed automatic transmission adds 100 kW (134 hp) and 234 lb-ft of torque to the mix. Those numbers certainly make sense, considering the gas Q7 makes 333 hp (albeit with a supercharger) and the existing Q7 e-tron, which isn't sold here, pairs a 17.3-kWh battery with a diesel V6. Since this is a concept, production intent or no, the range numbers are also a little theoretical, but here's what Audi claims: a 60-mile EV range, and a total range of around 621 miles. Not shabby if you're taking a long road trip. The adaptive air suspension should also make it a comfortable one. Inside, this is a four-place vehicle; no third row, and no center rear seat, as is the trend with these things. The cabin is very clean and modern – typically Audi, although exaggerated a bit. Expect it to be toned down some for production, but this concept interior is a glimpse into the future. We'll have to wait until next year to see something closer to production-ready, but it's coming. 2018 Audi SQ5 will use 48-volt electric supercharger

Tue, Jun 14 2016

It seems like 48-volt electric systems and electric compressors are becoming relatively mainstream, and Audi will be adding another vehicle powered by this emerging technology in 2017, according to comments Audi powertrain chief Oliver Hoffman made to Autocar. Hoffman said the upcoming SQ5, probably a 2018-model-year vehicle, will use a version of the electric compressor technology that debuted on the SQ7. While the SQ7 uses two gas-driven turbochargers and one electric compressor, the SQ5 will likely only use one conventional turbo and one e-compressor. That should allow it to make 365 hp, but 390 hp is possible from the system and may hint at room for a more powerful SQ5 Plus down the road. Remember, the European SQ5 uses a 3.0-liter TDI engine, and that's the same basic engine that will power the new SQ5 with the addition of the new forced induction system and 48-volt electrics. And also remember that the US-market SQ5 uses a supercharged 3.0-liter gasoline engine, not the TDI unit, which is one of the reasons it's still on sale in the wake of the TDI scandal. Torque is the real differentiator: the current US-market SQ5 makes 354 hp and 347 lb-ft of torque, while the current Euro-market SQ5 Plus makes a massive 516 lb-ft. No word yet on how the dual-compressor system on the upcoming SQ5 will affect torque numbers, but expect the new engine to again have considerably more twist than its gas-powered US-market counterpart.
