Looking for an Audi? Are you a student or parent looking for a decent car? This car is perfect for the novice or professional enthusiast's. Runs and drives great. New fuel filter, pump and relay. New front cv half-shafts. New right front brake caliper, Left and Right front break lines. New front pads, New battery, New ignition modules and have 2 spares. New air cleaner box, New spark plugs. All new O2 sensors good for 100,000 miles. Regular maintenance and proper fluids. Any problem that has came up has been addressed properly. Check engine light has been on since I got it 1.5 years ago no problems. Kelly blue book has it listed in fair as 5106$ and excellent at 6609$ I also have an engine block with 100,000 miles on it for a rebuild if you want it too add 200$ to car price negotiated. I have jack stands, ramps and an oil pan plus a vag-com interface and extra coolant that can go with the car. I am planning on moving and do not need this car anymore. I parked on the street and someone did a hit and run so the front drivers door has a dent in it otherwise its has succumb to 13 years of normal wear and tare. It has 198,XXX miles and it still starts every time hasn't broke down. it has a slight oil leak that is most likely the valve cover seal. Interior is decent but certainly not brand new. I have a lead here in Ames on a guy that sells and fixes Audi's for any future parts or fixes needed and quoted me 350 painted and installed door. 'Worldwide, every third Audi will be an SUV by 2020'

Automotive News Europe reports the new Audi manufacturing facility in San Jose Chiapa, Mexico will increase the automaker's production capacity for the Q5 SUV by 150,000 units per year. While the plant will supply every market with the exception of China, most of the production is slated to head to the US.
While speaking with ANE, Audi CEO Rupert Stradler said, "Worldwide, every third Audi will be an SUV by 2020." So far this year, 40 percent of Audi vehicles sold in the US have been light trucks, with the company's sales in that segment jumping by 53 percent. By comparison, Audi passenger car sales have increased by just one percent.
The first Q5 vehicles from the San Hose Chiapa plant will show up on dealer lots in 2016. Audi of America recently received a larger 9,000-unit allocation of Q5 models after seeing sales increase 36 percent through April compared to the same period in 2012.

Let's say you just got a big promotion at work or the kids are moving out of the house, and you finally have some extra money. You decide to blow it all at once and treat yourself by upgrading your ride. Naturally, you look to a luxury automaker. What do you choose?
Models like the Audi A3 and Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class may be tailor-made to introduce buyers to the premium segment, but a new study finds that they don't garner the highest rates of non-luxury customer conquests. It turns out that a Volvo leads among folks moving up to a premium brand, and it isn't even one that's made anymore, at that.
A recent study by Polk and IHS Automotive looked at what models had the highest rates of buyers upgrading from a non-luxury segment. The information comes from its new vehicle registration data through April 2014. All ten top models boasted conquest rates of over 50 percent, but the Volvo C70 led the field with 68.01 percent of its customers coming from non-premium brands.

Audi R18 suffers huge crash during Le Mans practice, driver conscious and alert

Loic Duval, driver of the #1 Audi R18 E-tron Quattro, suffered a massive crash today during free practice for the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Duval's car reportedly went off track backwards at high speed near the Porsche Curves and flew into the retaining fence. There is no video of the actual crash at the moment, but a video of the aftermath (viewable below) shows significant damage to the Audi and to the fence. The wall nearby the car appears unaffected.
Thankfully, it occurred quite close to a marshal's stand, and they were present almost immediately after the incident. Both the official press release from the 24 Hours of Le Mans and a tweet from Audi Sport (below) indicated that Duval was conscious after the crash, and he was taken by ambulance to the medical center and then to the hospital. The press release says: "His condition is encouraging." However, any injuries he might have sustained are unknown at this time. After the crash, the course was red flagged, and practice resumed about 50 minutes later.
