HELLO THIS IS A 1999 AUDI A6 QUATTRO AS IS NO WARRANTY THAT NEEDS SOME ATTENTION TO IT. LETS START WITH THE INTERIOR OF THE CAR. THE LINING AROUND THE SUNROOF NEEDS TO BE REPLACE, THE REAR VIEW MIRROR NEEDS TO BE MOUNTED BACK. THE MIDDLE CONSOLE NEEDS TO BE FIX AND THE DRIVER SIDE AND PASSENGER SIDE WINDOW NEEDS WINDOW REGULATORS FOR BOTH SIDES. THE SEATS ARE IN FAIRLY GOOD CONDITION. THE BODY OF THE CAR IS IN SOME WHAT GOOD CONDITION OTHER THAN THE FRONT BUMPER THAT NEEDS TO BE REPAINTED. I'VE HAD THIS CAR SINCE 2005 AND WHEN I BROUGHT IT IT HAD 77,000 MILES ON IT. N0W IT HAS 122658 THAT'S 45658 I PUT ON THIS VEHICLE IN 8 YRS. LOCALLY DRIVEN MAINLY, BACK AND FORTH TO WORK WHICH WAS A 14 MILE TOTAL COMMUTE. AS FAR AS REPAIRS GOES IT NEEDS A CAM SEAL JOB, I JUST HAD THE VALVE COVER GASKETS REPLACE AND WAS ALSO INFORMED THAT I NEED THE CAM SEALS DONE SO IT'S LEAKING A LITTLE OIL AT THIS MOMENT. I WAS ALSO INFORMED BY MY MECHANIC THAT I NEEDED A MASTER CYLINDER RESERVIOR NOT THE WHOLE MASTER CYLINDER. THE BRAKE LIGHT IS ON AND THE ABS LIGHT IS ON THEY NEED TO BE RESET BY THE DEALER BECAUSE I JUST HAD THE ABS SENSOR REPLACED ABOUT 2 MONTHS AGO ALONG WITH THE THROTTLE BODY. THE LEFT TURN FRONT MARKER ALSO NEEDS SOME ATTENTION I BELIEVE IT'S JUST THE CONTACT, I'M SELLING BECAUSE I WANT SOMETHING NEW. THIS CAR IS STILL STRONG AND HAS PLENTY OF LIFE LEFT. Next Audi R8 seen and heard in this spy video
Thu, 27 Mar 2014A few weeks ago, our clandestine spy photographers brought home the first good look at the next-generation Audi R8. We were all pretty stoked.
Seemingly following the game plan of the recently shown Audi TT, the next R8 looks to be an evolutionary update on a supercar form that pretty much everyone loves.
Today, the same shooters that snapped the car in stills have delivered some pretty compelling moving pictures of the thing. Captured both in some less-than-inspiring around-town traffic situations and out on the Nürburgring, the video delivers our first taste of the new R8's auditory splendor. Well... a taste of it, anyway.
Amazon Prime now delivering right to your Audi
Thu, Apr 23 2015Amazon has come up with many ways to deliver packages to its premium Prime customers, ranging from very large boxes to drones. Now, the company is looking at delivering directly to your car. Being introduced on a very limited trial basis in Germany, Amazon is offering Audi-owning Prime customers the option to have packages delivered to their vehicle. That's a boon if you're waiting on a pricey parcel, but can't stay at home to sign for it. The first phase of the program will begin next month in the Munich area. The pilot program requires customers to give an approximate location of their vehicle during the delivery period. DHL delivery drivers – the only shipping service partnering with Amazon for Audi deliveries – will be granted one-time access to trunks, with an access code tied into the delivery. "We are working to offer Prime members a delivery location that is always available and convenient: the trunk of their car," Michael Pasch, director of Amazon Prime for the European Union, said in a Google Translated statement. "This innovation makes shopping at Amazon even easier and more flexible. It gives customers another way to receive their orders." Related Video:
Next Audi R8 to share hybrid tech with Lamborghini Asterion
Wed, 08 Oct 2014The second-generation Audi R8 isn't far away, but when it arrives, it could serve to seriously shake up the supercar market according to Audi research and development boss Ulrich Hackenberg.
Speaking to Car in the UK, Hackenberg confirmed quite unequivocally that a plug-in-hybrid model and a pure electric were coming. And as with the current R8, the next-gen model will borrow from Audi's Italian cousins at Lamborghini.
"We are able to make the R8 a plug-in hybrid," Hackenberg told Car. "The Lamborghini Asterion shows this is possible - that car uses the platform of the R8. We will see an increase in the efficiency of high-performance cars - they have to meet CO2 regulations of the future in order to survive."
