Description Up for sale is a gorgeous 2010 Audi A6 Quattro Premium Plus luxury sedan equipped with a strong yet fuel efficient 3.0L V6 Turbo engine and Automatic transmission with manual shift option. This A6 has just 38k original miles on the clock and it runs and drives LIKE NEW! We have recently purchased the car from an insurance company with water damage announcement. When we got the car, there were NO signs of water inside! The carpet was dry and all connectors and metal parts were intact! There was NO damage to the engine or transmission! We have carefully inspected the vehicle and flushed fluids to make sure there is no water there. We have also checked the wiring and connectors, professionally detailed the interior and installed a brand new battery. The car runs and drives GREAT with no problems. Engine, transmission and all electrical components including power heated seats, blower motor, radio, power windows etc work fine. The interior is extra clean with no rips or or odors of any kind, still smells LIKE NEW! The car was obviously well maintained by its owner. This is a NON-smoker vehicle. All four tires are still in good shape. We've put almost 2000 miles on the car since we got it because it was too nice not to drive it and there are absolutely NO issues with it! Due to huge number of vehicles affected by Hurricane Sandy, insurance companies simply did not have time to carefully inspect every car. They did not attempt to start vehicles or verify mileage if the battery was dead etc. That's why they marked "Not actual miles" on the paperwork for most cars, including this one. Wagons make a bit of a comeback, with new models, sales on the rise
Thu, Jan 10 2019Consider this an official invitation to hop on the wagon bandwagon. There's still tons of room because, well, it's a wagon (and market share is still extremely small). But according to new data, the segment is growing. According to a report from Bloomberg, using data from Edmunds.com, roughly 211,600 Americans purchased wagons in 2018. That is technically down from the 237,600 sold in 2017, but wagon sales in the U.S. are up 29 percent from where they were five years ago. It's also the third year in a row that wagon sales broke the 200,000 mark. The sales trends have been somewhat representative of the availability of wagons. New models have debuted during the past 5 years and therefore offer more opportunity at more brands to buy wagons. In addition to more modest cars such as the Volkswagen Golf Sportwagen, several luxury and performance brands are offering wagons today, such as Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar, Volvo and Buick. (Bloomberg's headlines make the point that "crossovers are for the Kardashians," and wagons are just, well, classier.) This uptick in brand-name availability, as well as extremely well-executed design on most of the wagons currently available, has helped increase the segment's desirability. That, and its ability to better accomplish the same tasks at hand while standing out from the crossover and SUV crowd. Still, the posted numbers represent a small fraction of the total vehicles sold. According to the data, wagons only held a 1.4 percent market share in 2017, the segment's best recent year. Wagons hold a steadfast place in America's past, and they're writing an interesting new story. With the downturn in traditional cars, they may continue to create an unexpected narrative. A sport watch from Nike or Garmin would seem to indicate enthusiasm for athletic pursuit. Inexpensive fashion statements from Nixon or Nooka could signify a love of high design. Splashing out on a true luxury timepiece from Rolex, Bell & Ross or Breitling serves as a sort of human plumage display to connote, "I have thousands of dollars - at least - of disposable income."
Audi S3 Cabriolet spotted in the world for the first time
Tue, 29 Jan 2013Spy photographers have finally managed to lay a lens on the upcoming Audi S3 Cabriolet. The new convertible stepped out into the light of day for a little winter testing, and from the looks of things, the model will borrow plenty of design cues from the larger A5. Not that we're complaining. Word has it the S3 will put around 300 horsepower to the pavement via a quattro all-wheel drive system. We've also heard the machine will boast a dual-clutch transmission once it bows.
We've long been fans of the S3 Sportback, and the S5 holds a special place in our hearts as well. A smaller, lighter version of the big cabriolet with all of the aggressive proportions of its larger brother should prove to be a welcome addition to the Audi stable.
