Up for sale is my 2002 Audi A6 4.2 Quattro Sedan
Overall this is a great car. It has a few cosmetic blemishes but nothing that stands out. It starts right up, has plenty of power and a lot of life left. Tires are in great condition. It has everything the luxe package includes...heated seats, heated steering wheel, sunroof, power everything (steering wheel, mirrors, seats, etc...). It has aftermarket TSW wheels that looks a little tarnished. I haven't tried but it could probably be buffed pretty easily. The check engine light is on. The diagnostic reading says the oxygen sensors are faulty. Basically that will lower your gas mileage a bit but otherwise doesn't affect much. In the near future it could probably use some spark plugs and brake pads but it is a great daily driver as it is. I have the utmost trust that this car will drive anywhere and everywhere that you would like it to. Therefore, you can either arrange to ship it however you would like (I will help as much as I can) Or, after finding out your location, I will quote you an additional amount payable by Paypal and I will drive it to your doorstep. Probably be a few hundred cheaper to do it this way. |

Audi waxes poetic about Le Mans
Mon, 12 Aug 2013Audi did it again this year at Le Mans, but it wasn't arguably a harder job than it's been in the past few years. The Four Rings has put together a five-minute recap of the 24 hours in the wet and the dry at La Sarthe, showing a lot of the low points and the one high point that makes them all worth it.
Perhaps even better than the footage are the driver interviews. Audi has owned Le Mans for more than a decade, but none of the drivers take it for granted - team driver Marc Gene said, "I also think that Le Mans picks the winner... At some point, he just decides which car and which drivers are going to win that race."
You can check it out in the video below. And be sure to hang around for the tribute at the end.
Refreshed A1 packs Audi's first three-cylinder gas engine [w/video]
Mon, 17 Nov 2014Back in 2010, Audi debuted the diminutive A1, and it's sold over half a million of them since. Now, more than four years later, the German automaker has given its smallest and most accessible model a facelift and some updated equipment.
The latest version of the A1 benefits from a range of updates, including a sharpened take on the company's familiar styling with a reshaped single-frame grille, new bumpers front and rear as well as new wheel and color choices. But the biggest news is the introduction of Audi's first three-cylinder gasoline engine.
The turbocharged, direct-injected 1.0-liter three-pot churns out just 94 horsepower, but that's still six more than the previous base 1.2-liter four offered, all the while returning better fuel economy and emissions figures. Of course, that turbo three is not the only engine on offer, joining the 1.4-liter turbo four in 123- and 148-hp states of tune and the 113-hp 1.6-liter TDI. And of course there's still the 228-hp S1 performance model. Depending on specification, the engines are mated to a five- or six-speed manual, but can all be optioned with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission as well.
