Selling my Audi A5 Prestige Package Coupe.
I am the original owner of this car, I purchased it brand new from Audi. I had to custom order this car and when I bought it, it was the only one ever made with exactly the colors / options in this car. You won't find another one like it! All of the service is up to date has been done by Audi and can be verified by them. The car has never had an accident and is a clean title, and I own it outright (no banks or lenders on the title). Audi A5 Prestige Package - this is the top of the line package with all options, I can't even list them all but I'll give you some highlights. 2.0 Liter Turbo Engine, around 220 hp. Great gas mileage just under 30mpg combined and plenty of power Navigation Bang & Olufsen 500W Sound System (awesome) Audi MMI interface with integrated hard drive Bluetooth Sirius XM Satellite Radio Live Traffic updates on Navigation Map HID Xenon Headlights LED Daytime Running Lights (very cool looking) Fog lights LED Taillights Power moonroof auto-dimming mirrors heated seats Lots of airbags, I think it has 4 at least collapsible rear seats extend the trunk space - easy to put in ski's, snowboard etc. 6 Speed Manual transmission Exterior color - midnight blue metallic Interior leather color - beige Electro-mechanical parking break Windows tinted 80% in back 25% in front, no ripples or anything in the tint, looks great Car has been garage kept for it's entire life Everything is in great shape and working perfectly. Audi scores 100th LMP win
Tue, 24 Sep 2013Loïc Duval, Tom Kristensen and Allan McNish took the No. 2 Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro to victory at this weekend's Six Hours of Austin at the Circuit of the Americas, marking the 12th victory for the R18 body and the 100th LMP overall victory for Audi since 2000. The milestone victory also saw a second R18, driven by Marcel Fässler, André Lotterer and Benoît Tréluyer, take third place.
Audi's LMP boss, Chris Reinke pointed out the poignancy of snagging the brand's 100th victory in the US, saying, "For Audi, it's a very special result because it was the 100th victory in LMP racing. We celebrated the first victory int he USA as well, in 2000. What could be sweeter than achieving this milestone here?" It wasn't all easy going, though, as the team was racing at COTA for the first time, and the No. 1 car had more than a few difficulties.
This victory marked the 12th for the R18 since it started racing in 2011. For comparison, the R15 TDI only managed three victories between 2009 and 2011, and the R10 TDI took 22 wins between 2006 and 2008. Those cars are overshadowed by the original Audi R8 racecar, which won 63 races between 2000 and 2006. Take a look below for the full press release from Audi, and additional quotes from team members.
Google poised to release Apple CarPlay rival this month
Tue, 17 Jun 2014Apple and Google. They're the Michigan and Ohio State of the tech world. They're New York Yankees and the Boston Red Sox, Real Madrid and Barcelona, or whatever sports-based rivalry you want to cook up. Bottom line, if one company expands into a segment, it's only a matter of time before the other follows suit. And now, that rivalry is about to carry over to your car's dashboard.
Unnamed sources are reporting to Automotive News that Google will unveil its very own challenger to Apple's new CarPlay in-car operating system later this month at the Mountain View, CA company's annual developer conference. The system, allegedly called Google Auto Link, will be the first product to come from the Open Automotive Alliance, a partnership between Google, General Motors, Hyundai, Audi, Honda and hardware manufacturer NVIDIA.
The official announcement is expected to be made on either June 25 or 26, at the Google I/O conference in San Francisco. Expect to hear a lot more about Google Auto Link then.
