History: I am the original owner of this car. I leased it from Langan Audi in Latham, NY in October 2008. At the end of my 3 year lease I purchased the car. All servicing was performed by Langan's service department at appropriate intervals. It is meticulously maintained. I have the car detailed on an annual basis and it is washed frequently in the winter including bottom blasts to remove salt. The engine compartment has been cleaned as well. The car has been kept in my garage continuously. I use the car for my work as a salesman and most of its mileage comes from long drives. I average 26 miles per gallon in fuel consumption.
Condition: The car is mechanically perfect. At 71,000 miles the pistons were replaced by Audi under warranty. This was a common problem with cars of that model year. At 92,000 miles the turbo charger was replaced, also a common problem. Front brakes and rotors were replaced at 71,000 miles. The car rides like new. The interior is like new. I do not smoke and rarely have passengers. I use winter mats year round (standard mats are new). The gas cap and door were replaced recently. The car has never been hit. The body is in overall excellent condition with a few minor scratches in the clear coat (passenger door), a very small ding in the right quarter panel, and a few stone chips in the front grill and on the hood (hardly noticeable). There is a two inch crack in the bottom of the right tail light. I covered it with clear plastic tape and the car has passed all inspections. All service records are available and will be given to the new owner. Features: The car has the Premium Plus accessory package. Fully adjustable electric front seats, Navigation System, blue tooth connection, voice activation, rear camera, built in garage door opener, etc. Everything is in perfect working order. This is simply a great car that must be driven to be fully appreciated. |

Audi A3 gets Virtual Cockpit next year
Sun, Aug 30 2015Want the Audi TT's nifty virtual cockpit but need a more practical car? Great news for you, as Audi will bring the reconfigurable, all-digital instrument cluster to the A3 next year. The news was confirmed to our friends at Car and Driver, courtesy of the head of Audi's electronics department, Ricky Hudi. "In the future, there are not so many [of our] cars that will not have it integrated, even into the smaller cars. Next year in the A3, we will also integrate the Virtual Cockpit," Hudi told C/D. Now, don't go thinking you'll be able to pick up a basic A3 and be able to enjoy the new instrument cluster, like you can on the TT and R8. This is going to be an up-market option, just like it is on the new Q7. "If they choose a higher engine or a higher, well-equipped car then they will choose it – no doubt. The price reduces very fast with more people using it and the Virtual Cockpit is an Audi signature now." Related Video:
2016 Audi RS7 Performance is an LA beauty in blue
Fri, Nov 20 2015The whole point of the new 2016 Audi RS7 Performance is directly in its name, and the Four Rings now claims 605 horsepower from its 4.0-liter twin turbo V8. For those keeping track of big-brother bragging rights, Audi claims 560 hp from the standard RS7. Plus, the engine's torque can jump from 516 pound-feet to 553 lb-ft during the temporary overboost function. An eight-speed automatic gearbox still sends power to the front and rear through the Quattro all-wheel drive system. The results of all these upgrades are a sprint to 60 miles per hour in 3.6 seconds and a top speed of 190 mph. The RS7 Performance is about more than just power; Audi also fits carbon ceramic brakes and an RS Sport Suspension with Dynamic Ride Control. The exterior also sees some minor tweaks that include a restyled rear diffuser, new 21-inch wheels, black tailpipes, and a gloss black grille. RS sport seats come standard inside. The RS7 Performance arrives at Audi dealers in December and prices start at $129,925 (after $925 for destination). Get a good look at this very quick, fastback sedan in the gallery above. The Audi RS 6 Avant performance* and Audi RS 7 Sportback performance* further hone the brand's sporty profile. Their 4.0 TFSI engine with 445 kW (605 hp) and up to 750 Nm (553.2 lb ft) of torque push acceleration (3.7 seconds) nearly to levels usually reserved for supercars. Fuel consumption remains unchanged at 9.6 and 9.5 liters per 100 kilometers (24.5 and 24.8 US mpg), respectively, corresponding to 223 and 221 g CO2 per km (358.9 and 355.7 g/mi). These are best-in-segment figures. The new Audi RS 6 Avant performance and the new Audi RS 7 Sportback performance offer more power output than ever before. A particular highlight of the engine is an overboost function allowing the driver to temporarily draw on up to 750 Nm (553.2 lb-ft).
Tom Kristensen walks through a perfect lap of Le Mans in Forza 5
Wed, 11 Jun 2014One of the best ways of learning a new track, aside from driving it, is to hear someone that's intimately familiar with it give you a good walkthrough. That's just what you'll get here, as the winningest driver in 24 Hours of Le Mans history, Tom Kristensen, walks you through the Circuit de la Sarthe's high-speed, 8.5-mile strip of pavement.
Kristensen is dubbed over scenes of drivers from a Forza Motorsport 5 contest lapping the track at the wheel of an Audi R18 E-Tron Quattro, adding a bit of visual sense to the Danish drivers description of the track.
With the 2014 24 Hours of Le Mans kicking off this weekend, this is just the sort of video you'll want to watch to get you in the mood. Take a look below, and then let us know what you think in Comments.
