2004 Audi A4 Quattro Avant Wagon 4-door 3.0l - Premium Package on 2040-cars
Midland, Michigan, United States
2004 Audi A4 Avant Quattro 3.0 L V-6 , Triptronic Automatic, Fully Loaded - *Accident Free * This car is probably one of the best cars I have drove. It is a very sporty wagon with lots of power. The timing belt and water pump and other neccesary components have been changed out less than 1000 miles ago. So that expensive Audi Maintence service and worries about the critical engine component failure is relieved. All receipts availible to new owner. The car also boasts newer sporty high performace tires for all weather driving. The car is in sound good condition, it runs, accelerates strong, and drives smoothly. Don't pay a new car price when you can get a good quality dependable ride for much less. This has been my daily driver over the last few months, but still like my truck better for my work and will probably purchase a new dodge 1500 diesel in the spring when there availible to pull our fifth wheeler. That is why I am selling.
The following optional equipment has been installed on this Audi: PPX Premium Package: Power Moon Roof, Home link Remote Transmitter, Multi Function Steering Wheel, Auto Dimming and fold Exterior mirrors, Auto Dimming interior mirror w/ compass, Light sensor package, Xenon Headlights, Memory Seat and mirror adjustments
PAW Cold Weather Package: Heated Front Seats and Ski Sack
With this all being said, this is a used car and it does have a couple of small door dings and a few minor scratches in the bumper area. The bottom left front fender has a very small spot where paint is peeling from stone chips, but I have touched it with touch-up paint. Audi may cover this repair under the existing corrosion warranty, but I have not checked.

'Rich Kid of Instagram' victim of supercar arsonists
Wed, 18 Jun 2014A 19-year-old in the UK is smarting after the possibility that his prolific social media use may be at the heart of four family-owned supercars going up in flames in barely a week. Aleem Iqbal has thousands of followers on Twitter and Instagram paying attention to his frequent posts about the high-priced cars he's driving. He's even been featured on the Tumblr page Rich Kids of Instagram. It appears that some people might not be so smitten with him, though.
According to his Twitter profile, Iqbal owns Platinum Executive Travel, a luxury car rental company in the England, and UK newspaper The Telegraph claims the company is also owned by Iqbal's father. On June 6, cameras caught three hooded men setting fire to a Lamborghini Aventador Roadster leased by the company for a wedding. A few days later, two Audi R8 Spyders and a Bentley Continental Flying Spur from Platinum also got the torch, and two men were caught on camera setting the blaze. Nobody was hurt in either of the attacks, and the Aventador appeared to be repairable with the fire causing most damage to the passenger seat and dashboard. Police are still investigating both of the crimes.
According to The Telegraph, Iqbal believes that the arsons could have stemmed from jealousy towards him and his family's business. Regardless, setting fire to a bunch of cars that are likely insured isn't a great way to show displeasure.
Audi builds 5-millionth vehicle with Quattro
Mon, 25 Feb 2013Quattro, the trademark name Audi has put on its all-wheel-drive system engineered for passenger vehicles, recently celebrated its five-millionth installation. The driveline has been offered in more than 140 different vehicles since its introduction more than three decades ago.
The all-wheel-drive technology made its world debut at the 1980 International Geneva Motor Show, beneath the floorpan of the Quattro Coupé, a low-volume two-door. It didn't take consumers long to embrace Audi's innovative approach. While most four-wheel-drive systems at that time utilized heavy transfer cases or second cardan shafts, Quattro was virtually tension-free, light, compact and efficient. Most importantly, enthusiasts found it was especially suitable for sports cars.
Today, the automaker offers Quattro on its full line of passenger vehicles and it is unquestionably successful (the technology enjoyed a 43 percent take rate in 2012). On models with transverse-mounted engines (A3 and TT), Audi uses an electronically controlled multi-plate clutch with hydraulic actuator. Under normal conditions, the clutch sends power almost exclusively to the front wheels (if wheel slippage occurs, up to 100 percent of the torque may be sent to the rear). Vehicles with transverse-mounted engines (A4, A5, Q5, etc...) use a self-locking center differential sending 40 percent of the engine torque to the front axle and 60 percent to the rear under normal conditions (it is able to send the majority of the power to the axle with better traction when needed). The highest-performing Quattro systems use torque vectoring to further improve cornering grip and speeds.
2014 Audi S1 Quattro [w/video]
Fri, 21 Mar 2014Audi may only now be fully committing to the US compact car market with a range of A3 models, but it's got far more small car expertise than most Americans realize, and its offerings get even tinier, too. Back in 2010, Audi leapt into the subcompact premium fray - in all markets but the United States, Canada and China - with its A1. The A1 family has sold all right, but not quite as well as was expected, likely due to its price when optioned up. (It also doesn't help that the Volkswagen Polo is a great car on the same architecture and costs much less.)
But Audi seems compelled to make high-buck S trims of everything nowadays, so right on schedule, I've scored seat time in its new S1 Quattro. Under its gumdrop-colored hood is the very popular 2.0-liter TFSI motor. In this trim, it's good for 228 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque between 1,600 and 3,000 rpm. That's quite a lot of gumption for this little blaster - enough power for 0-60 in just 5.7 seconds.
My drive was originally supposed happen on a sub-zero frozen lake in Sweden, only Audi forgot to call Mother Nature and ask her to hold off on springtime. It would have turned into a slush drive and then a submarine test had I been told to stick to the original plan, so it was dusty, soggy and gravel-y pavement instead, which turned out to be a better real-world test anyhow. Plus, the car got even cuter when it was filthy.
