Hello.

I can say now that I'm not selling this beautiful Aston Martin Vanquish (I wish..) but I am selling the drawing in the following picture. WAIT! This isn't for shits and giggles. I have a reason for the shitty drawing and the steep price. I'll just start by saying that this is an attempt to buy the dream car of my very own. Ever since I've watched The Italian Job (a movie anybody can appreciate) my dream has been to get a 2003 Mini Cooper S, blue with white racing stripes. Unfortunately, the the mini cooper ranks extremely high in the worst cars depreciation wise (for a buyer).

I'm 20 years old, I'm a full time student in college, I run track and cross country and I work a minimum wage job at papa john's when I have time. I've been trying to save money for years for this car, but it's always lost in paying for tuition and rent (I'm sure all of you can relate). I've honestly never had shit handed down to me, my parents made me worth for everything I've ever wanted. People always tell me that I can wait until I'm older to buy the car, when I get a job. Why wait though? Isn't this the time to have fun.. get girls.. live your dreams.

I realize that the drawing is nothing special and I truly don't deserve the money that you worked so hard for, but if you chose to do this, hang it up and let it be a token. Let it remind you that you helped out a kid fulfill his dreams. I hope that when I'm older, and I'm working in my actuarial science job (making quite a bit of money) if I saw something like this, I would return the favor and do something good for somebody, make someone's life a little better! I would do it now if I could, money is money, I'll always make more.

Seriously, if you have any questions.. I'll answer anything.. I'll prove that I'm not some drug addict. I don't know how. But I will. I've never wanted something so much in my life. Please, just send me a message.

Goodluck in your hunt for a Aston Martin Vanquish! haha. I envy you.

Aston Martin designs another house, this one overlooking Tokyo

Mon, Nov 28 2022

In Japan, where so many apartments aren’t much bigger than the cabin of a Bentley, it probably doesnÂ’t makes sense that Aston Martin plans to build a luxury home with a vista overlooking Tokyo. Of course, the home, designed as it will be by Aston Martin artists, will feature an automotive gallery. And after oneÂ’s parked his car, he can enjoy the wine cellar, in-house cinema, gym, and the private spa. The four-story property, already sold (price not revealed) and due for completion in about a year, is the British brandÂ’s first collaboration with homebuilders in Asia, but it is not the first time Aston has dipped a toe into projects other than automobiles. In 2018, the company launched a power boat, the AM37, a $1.6 million toy that was the result of two years of research and development. Supposedly designed with similar proportions that Aston applies to its vehicles, the top trim level AM37S makes an estimated 50 knots derived from its twin 520 horsepower Mercury petrol engines. Aston Martin even got into the personal luxury submarine game. Aston has also partnered to build a 6,000-square foot  “house” called Sylvan Rock in the Hudson Valley in upstate New York, costing $7.7 million, and is collaborating on the construction of a 66-floor, high-rise condominium in MiIami. Top price for a unit: $50 million. But the view is very nice. For the so-called “holistic” extravaganza near Tokyo, Marek Reichman, executive vice president of Aston, said: “The influence of Tokyo culture, with its amazing history and style, holds an important creative space within our design studio. I see fashion, architectural and even culinary references being considered by our team.” Japanese luxury real estate developer firm VIBROA is working with Aston Martin on the project, with an eye toward expanding the carmakerÂ’s presence in Asia. Rare 1958 Aston to be auctioned in Tennessee

Wed, Mar 11 2015

Decaying Aston Martins are showing up on the auction block all over the world. The final, original DBS recently went up for bid in the UK, and to go up for sale on the other side of the Atlantic, a 1958 DB Mark III was recently found wasting away in a Tennessee garage. "I didn't know much about it, except it was old and worth some money," said owner Tammy Maxwell to Clarksville Now. Her husband bought the Aston in Hawaii in 1975 and carried the car along with him until the family settled in Tennessee. He originally intended to restore it but an illness got in the way. Now, the vintage coupe is crossing the auction block in Cumberland Furnace, TN, on April 11 through Auction World Gallery. This example is in very rough shape, though. The paint and trim are gone from the entire front end, and the interior is a rat's nest of parts. There's no mention of whether the powertrain is intact, although a crankshaft is visible sitting in the boot and possibly a carb on the passenger seat. It's going to be a big project to get this Mark III back on the road. According to Aston Martin, the company built just 552 examples of the DB Mark III, and 462 of them were the coupe body style shown here that featured a hatchback. Power came from a 2.9-liter inline-six routed through a four-speed manual gearbox. The car also grabbed a unique footnote in pop culture history as James Bond's car in the book Goldfinger, rather than the DB5 in the film version.

Episode 2 of The Grand Tour will feature knives, explosions, guns, and also cars

Wed, Nov 23 2016

Following an immensely successful debut, The Grand Tour will follow up its first episode with exciting, dangerous things. Based on the trailer above, the episode will start peacefully enough with the trio driving up to the tent in South Africa with a convoy of off-road trucks. However, it seems each segment will be much more exciting. Right at the start of the trailer, there are clips of the Aston Martin Vulcan, a 7.0-liter, 820-horsepower V12 supercar, which will likely be the car tested at the "Ebola-drome" this week. Of course the car is communist because it doesn't have a V8. Then things get steadily more dangerous through the trailer. James May is shown as a somewhat unwilling participant at some sort of drifting exhibition. He apparently doesn't like tire smoke in the evenings. We also see that the trio went to Jordan for another segment. This is when we get a glimpse of Richard Hammond playing with large knives. Immediately following are clips of some sort of car chase challenge with large SUVs and luxury sedans, during which James May shoots an assault rifle out the back of an Audi S8. The shooting results in big explosions. It's worth a look yourself, to get in the mood for the next episode which hits Amazon on Friday. Related Video:
