This attractive convertible is both exotic and practical for everyday use. This vehicle was sold new to Oprah Winfrey, ordered for her by her local Florida based Aston Martin dealer in this striking red over parchment color combination. The standard DB7 Volante is equipped with Aston’s supercharged straight-6 cylinder engine which provides 335 hp. and lb. ft. of torque. It is mated with the automatic transmission. Oprah finally decided to part with the car in 2008. There were only 200 of these remarkable machines built for this year model.
Cosmetically, the car is representative of a driver with 34,288k miles. We are not aware of any accidents or “stories” in the car’s background. The tan convertible soft top is in good condition and fits well, but has minor discoloration from weather. The interior is very nice for a 16 year-old car. The dash leather and wood is brilliant, as are the door panels. The balance of the interior upholstery is beautiful. The posh suede headliner is in excellent, unmarked condition. The car has a responsive, tight feel as you would expect of a low mileage car. Truly a unique example of a contemporary luxury sports car, the DB7 Volante can be your exotic toy while doubling as your daily driver. This particular vehicle is further enhanced by its celebrity ownership history.
Begun in England by Lionel Martin and Robert Bamford in 1913, Aston Martin is known for designing stylish hand-built sports cars with highly competitive performance aspects. Aston Martin’s rich heritage of racing and specialized design has made it a worldwide icon of elegance, sophistication and rousing performance.
This Aston Martin is offered with a California title in Oprah Winfrey’s name, allowing the new owner to preserve the original Winfrey title. It also has EU paperwork to allow the new owner to transfer the vehicle overseas. A percentage of the proceeds will be given to the Ronald Mcdonald House.

Aston Martin announces $306M in funding to build DBX, 'other new luxury vehicles'
Fri, May 1 2015Aston Martin has just gotten one step closer to building a crossover, as the British outfit has secured a 200-million-pound (about $306 million at today's rates) infusion of capital from its leading shareholders. The money will allow Aston Martin to develop "a new vehicle based on the DBX concept," although just how closely the production model will adhere to the concept's styling is unclear. Andy Palmer, the company's CEO, also hinted at other models being added, thanks to the funds. "This additional long-term funding, will enable us to add extra model lines and broaden our presence in the luxury market segment by the end of the decade. The DBX concept has generated interest far beyond our expectations," Palmer said in the attached statement. "The additional investment announced today will allow us to realize the DBX and other new luxury vehicles that will form the strongest and most diverse portfolio in our history." It's unclear what these "other new luxury vehicles" will include. Previous reports have indicated a Lagonda-badged replacement for the aging Rapide will be added to the range, although considering the age of the rest of Aston Martin's lineup, it's a safe bet that at least some of this money will also be put towards vehicles beyond the new CUV and sedan. The only road-legal Aston Martin Vulcan dressed up in bomber camo for Gumball
Fri, Jun 7 2019The Gumball 3000 is to cars what the Met Gala is to fashion. Whereas Gala guests are flexing their money with outrageous outfits and costly designer customs, Gumball participants show off with expensive and rare vehicles covered in eye-popping temporary skins. One of the biggest stars at the 2019 Gumball 3000 will be the only road-legal Aston Martin Vulcan in the world. This year, the Gumball 3000's path takes drivers from Mykonos, Greece, to Athens, Greece, to Thessaloniki, Greece, to Tirana, Albania, to Porto Montenegro, Montenegro, to Split, Croatia, to Venice, Italy, to Monaco, to Barcelona, Spain, to Ibiza Town, Spain. Approximately 114 teams will be participating in the ostentatious party rally, and few will have a car more special than the Vulcan. YouTube personality Mr. JWW will be behind the wheel of the Team 106 car, which is wearing a slick camo look that is inspired by the Avro Vulcan bomber used by the Royal Air Force (and featured in the James Bond movie Thunderball as another point of reference). JWW will also be joined by G. Stepanovs and S. Tompkins. Of the 24 Vulcans made, the one you see here is the only road-legal version of the bunch. In the video above, JWW shows exactly what makes it capable of driving on public roads. The mods include Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, an increased ride height, a different front splitter, a revised radiator, removed steering lock stops, revised steering rack, and an altered rear wing. The biggest adjustment is the addition of proper headlights, which give the Vulcan an entirely new front-end style. Aston Martin changed a few minor things inside, as well. Check out all of the features in the full video above, and watch the JWW and Gumball 3000 social channels this weekend and next week for ongoing rally coverage. New Bond car nets Xcar Aston Martin retrospective
Fri, Dec 12 2014Well, there's something to be said for timing. With the announcement that MI6 Agent James Bond would take the wheel of the all-new Aston Martin DB10 in his next film, Spectre, Xcar has taken a look back at 007's most iconic vehicle – the DB5. There's also something about some such special edition Vanquish, but it all kind of pales in the glory of the iconic DB5. Okay, so it's not just some special edition Vanquish. It's the gorgeous Centenary Edition, a limited run of just 100 cars – one for each of Aston Martin's history – that's been adorned inside and out with a number of premium touches. In the other corner, though, there's the real subject of Xcar's latest video. This stunning example of the DB5 only gets puttered around a parking garage, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful. Take a look.
