This is a beautiful 49,250 original miles 1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce that I have owned for almost 10 years. I am the third owner. I have kept this Alfa in our garage with a custom cover (included) for the entire time I have owned the car. I have replaced oil and fluids on a regular basis. The paint is original. I replaced the muffler two years ago with an ANSA exhaust system. I also replaced the trunk cable one year ago. The condition is immaculate as you can see by the pictures. High quality cloth top is absolutely like new (original) with perfect rear plastic window. Original tan Tonneau cover is perfect. Engine compartment very clean. No leaking oil, fluids, etc. There is no accident history, no dents, no dings. The AC could use some Freon. I am selling because...well, I am getting older and downsizing. This is the last car of a small collection I had (have an older 1984 Pininfarina that doesn't really count as the collection also for sale). I kept the best for last. I will add more information as I think of it.

Alfa Romeo teases million-dollar supercar debut for August 30
Tue, Jul 25 2023The long-rumored and limited-edition Alfa Romeo supercar will see its debut August 30. The brand teased an intake grille on Twitter with the line, "The courage to dream. It’s time to seize a game-changing moment with more passion than ever. Be prepared to enter the dream." We're also informed that the happening will be livestreamed from the Alfa Romeo Museum in Arese, Italy. The location was foreshadowed by brand CEO Philippe Imparato in February, when he said, "We are working on something that I could put aside the 8C in the museum of Arese, being proud of our contribution to the history of Alfa Romeo. That is what we want." August 30th: “Il coraggio di sognare”. ItÂ’s time to seize a game-changing moment with more passion than ever. Be prepared to enter the dream. pic.twitter.com/3hQjs4xBtQ — Alfa Romeo (@alfa_romeo) July 4, 2023 Reports say the something could be called either the 33, a call to the original Tipo 33 race car and Stradale of 1967. Both versions of the T33 are legendary in the brand's history, although both were powered by the 2.0-liter V8 in the competition variant. The 6C name that's been bandied for years would recall six-cylinder Alfas from the late 1920s to the early 1950s, and slot between the here-and-gone 8C Competizione supercar and 4C sports car.    This new beast will be a V6, that much we know. Reporting agrees that the Maserati MC20 Cielo roadster will provide the bones. Maserati's flagship is built on a carbon tub sprouting front and rear aluminum subframes, same as the 4C's construction, the Maserati built in the same Modena facility as the retired 4C. The Alfa Romeo-branded Formula 1 team might be contributing chassis tweaking suggestions; the supercar reveal happens the same weekend as the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, making for a natural crossover showcase. Sources differ on the engine. Some believe the entire MC20 Cielo package makes the jump, including the twin-turbo 3.0-liter Nettuno V6 making 621 horsepower and 553 pound-feet of torque. It's said engineers will add at least one electric motor to bump output to around 800 hp. Others believe it'll be the twin-turbo 2.9-liter V6 from the Giulia Quadrifoglio, tuned up to 539 hp and 443 lb-ft in the limited-edition GTAm. Production and price guesses are all over the map. Autocar says only 33 examples are coming out of Modena.
Alfa Romeo's limited Quadrifoglio Carbon Editions start at $86,470 this fall
Fri, Oct 6 2023Alfa Romeo, which is generally fairly conservative about offering upscale “special” editions of its mainstream cars, is giving its customers in North America an exclusive opportunity to order a limited-edition 2024 Giulia or Stelvio Quadrifoglio Carbon Edition. Limited to 130 units combined (!), the Carbon models are essentially a bit of decoration: on the exterior, thereÂ’s a carbon fiber V scudetto grille, mirror caps, gold calipers and black badging. Interior enhancements include sporty interior design touches, such as exclusive red leather sport seats and carbon fiber interior trim. Paint color options are Vulcano Black, Alfa Red or Rosso Etna. Engine specs are borrowed from the recently updated standard models, featuring a turbocharged 2.9-liter six-cylinder engine with 505 horsepower, routed through an eight-speed automatic transmission and standard adaptive suspension. This suspension technology is designed to read the road and quickly adjust shock valving to deliver greater handling characteristics at speed while maintaining a comfortable ride. The models will begin arriving in Alfa Romeo dealerships this quarter with a manufacturerÂ’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $86,470 for Giulia sedan and $93,870 for Stelvio SUV, including a destination fee of $1,595. “WeÂ’re excited to offer our North American consumers further customization with the new Alfa Romeo Carbon Edition, which enhances our sporty-Italian style with a unique and head-turning appearance on top of an unrivaled driving experience,” said Larry Dominique, head of Alfa Romeo, North America. “This limited edition elevates the passion of Alfa Romeo with a beautifully crafted design combined with the unsurpassed performance from our legendary Quadrifoglio models.” Related video: 2020 Alfa Romeo #Giulia Quadrifoglio vs. 2013 Dodge #Challenger SRT8 392 #exhaust comparison
2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia Review | Still the driver's choice
Tue, Dec 29 2020Nearly every luxury sport sedan similar in size to the 2021 Alfa Romeo Giulia is a great driving car, but none can topple Alfa from its throne as the best. Its quintessential sport sedan combination of agile handling, superior driver communication and powerful engines is the best in the business. Unfortunately, the highs are high, and the lows are low when it comes to the Giulia. The interior is better now than it was at the beginning, but it’s still less than the Germans in both luxury and technology. A frustrating and laggy touchscreen infotainment system is hardly an improvement over the non-touch interface of before. A palatial back seat has never been a sport sedan trademark, but the Giulia's competitors nevertheless out do it in that regard too (should you care). And of course, thereÂ’s the question of long-term reliability. We hope that Alfa Romeo has worked out the GiuliaÂ’s reported issues over the years, but reliability is worth considering with the carÂ’s troubled history. Many of these flaws might be worth looking past if you want the ultimate driverÂ’s sport sedan, especially if youÂ’re thinking about the dynamite Quadrifoglio and its brilliant Ferrari-derived engine. What's new for 2021? After the heavy 2020 updates, not much changed for 2021. The trim options are streamlined to just four now: Sprint (new base trim name), Ti, Ti Sport and Quadrifoglio. AlfaÂ’s dual-pane sunroof is made standard on Ti, and the limited-slip differential is now standard on Ti Sport. A number of new colors are available: Ocra GT Junior, Rosso GTA, Rosso Villa d'Este and Verde Montreal. Nothing changes for the Quadrifoglio. What's the GiuliaÂ’s interior and in-car technology like? AlfaÂ’s upgrades for 2020 focused on improving the GiuliaÂ’s cabin, and itÂ’s much better for it. Materials on the steering wheel, dash and center console are more in touch with luxury expectations, and the control interfaces are sturdy, quality parts. The overall result still doesn't match most competitors, but it's no longer objectionable, and the materials generally feel nice to the touch. The design itself is attractive and minimalist. It lacks the Swedish flair of a Volvo S60 or the drama of some of the offerings available from Lexus and Mercedes, but Alfa was sure to pack in just enough Italian flair (red leather helps) to keep things interesting.
