1991 Alfa Romeo Spider Veloce Convertible 2-door 2.0l on 2040-cars
Paso Robles, California, United States
1991 Alfa Romeo Spider. White on tan leather. Clean Carfax. 135K documented miles. 5-speed manual. It's always been a California car. Starts right up, runs and drives strong and smooth with no issues. Condition overall is very good both cosmetically and mechanically. Engine runs quiet, pulls hard. Tan leather and suede seat covers.
Paint is glossy and shiny. There are a few little trim pieces that are loose (driver's door window.) I bought the car in 2008 from a reputable dealer in Marina Del Rey. Clean Carfax. Seems it had only one other previous owner. I've had these repairs done in the last few years: Clutch master cylinder Slave master cylinder Alternator both fuel pumps Brake pads and rotors New battery New AC blower I have receipts for all the parts and services. Canvas top looks good outside, but is tired inside, Has detachable face Sony CD player, new power antenna in place and works fine. The only negatives of the car are typical to Alfas of this vintage. Typical light oil leaks, but no oil burning. All in all this is a very clean and meticulously sorted Alfa Spider. This Spider has been well maintained, and will make a very reliable car for the enthusiast who will enjoy putting guilt free miles on it. I am an Alfa girl – this is my third Spider. If you’d like to talk on the phone, please send me a message. Car is also for sale locally in Paso Robles, on California's beautiful Central Coast, halfway between LA and San Francisco. Fly in and drive it home, or I’m happy to help with shipping. Car will remain garaged and insured until pick up. Title is clean, in hand. |

Leno samples Corvette Z06, steam cars, supercars and the wonders of Pebble Beach
Fri, 12 Sep 2014While Jay Leno's Garage was conceived to highlight the wonders of The Big Chin's eponymous storage facility, Leno does occasionally get out an into the larger world. Pebble Beach and the festivities around Monterey recently provided a great excuse for a road trip, and Leno seemingly had a pretty full dance card.
In an episode aptly dubbed The Ultimate Car Week, our host takes us through a pretty representative selection of great things to see in and around Pebble. Starting with a ride-along in a steam car, Jay manages to check in on the latest McLaren supercar and drive the Alfa Romeo 4C along the way. Oh, and he takes a good look at the all-new Corvette Z06 (next to the original Z06) before hitting the Concourse d'Elegance, too.
