For sale 1988 Alfa Romeo Spider Sprint Veloce
As you can see from the pictures the car has been involved in a front end collision.
This was my sons car and he was involved in an accident where he was following to closely.
The damage was all cosmetic and the radiaor was not damaged.
We got the car 8/25/2011 with 78,000 miles on it.
We also got with this car a 1986 Alfa Spider Graduate that had a blown head gasket. The 1986 Alfa was taken apart and the body hauled away but we kept all the body panels that would unbolt as well as all the mechanical parts.
We Also Got the original engine from this 1988 spider the was taken out to be rebuilt as well as all new engine overhaul gaskets, bearings, chain, and seals.
The owner we got the car from put a low mileage engine in the place of the original and drove it that way.
He stopped driving the car when the slave cylinder stopped working.
When we got the car it had to be towed.
We replaced the slave cylinder, the fuel pump in tank, and installed a rebuilt alternator.
We installed the sport seats as well as the 4 point seat harnesses. 1988 Alfa spiders had the automatic seatbealts and they had to go.
We installed new front and rear perfomance springs. The spare tire matches the other 4 Speedline rims and is brand new. The four driving tires are good but are showing there age.
We also installed an aftermarket exhaust and removed the front and back bumpers.
The car has an Alpine CD head unit that says plays HD staions but we have never tried that feature as well as a electric antenna.
The Accident occured before we removed the front bumper as this car went under the bumper of the front car if you were wondering.
This car does burn oil but runs well.
We put in iridium plugs and new dexacool antifreeze and mobil one synthetic.
This was my sons daily driver but we felt a newer car was in order with more safety features.
The was no real rust to speak of until the accident which you can see from the picture.
This car can be drivin anywhere and has no overheating problems.
This Auction also includes the parts car worth of parts so bring a trailer as well.
If you do not want all the parts that go with the car you can only take the ones you want.
Please only bid if you are willing to follow through with the auction.
We are selling for a low price due to the front end damage and do not think that this car is not a driver.
Call dave patchin at 757-576-6715 for any more questions or email if you prefer.

2023 Alfa Romeo Tonale aims to be the enthusiast's small SUV
Tue, Feb 8 2022Alfa Romeo's lineup will expand by 50% next year thanks to the 2023 Tonale, its new small SUV engineered to take on the voluminous and still-expanding utility segment beneath the Stelvio and its ilk. This new baby SUV packs a minimum of 256 horsepower and all-wheel drive with an optional, performance-oriented plug-in model available. It's difficult to talk about the future of the automotive industry without acknowledging the spread of electrification and the rise in vehicular ride heights, and Alfa's checking both boxes with the Tonale. The small SUV will now be the brand's entry-level model. That's right; while you weren't looking, Alfa's lineup shrank to just two vehicles: Giulia and Stelvio. The company will add more electric variants in the coming years, including a BEV before the middle of the decade, so while the Tonale may be the first, it's not going to be the only, and while Alfa is adamant that there's a future for Giulia, we're now nearly a decade removed from the days of Alfa showrooms being populated by little coupes, convertibles, hatchbacks and sedans. The Tonale shares its underpinnings with just about every other small SUV in the Stellantis portfolio. Its largest cousin sold here in the U.S. is the Jeep Compass. We don't have all the numbers for Tonale just yet, but we suspect the only thing it'll really have in common with Jeep's economical compact will be the length of its wheelbase, which slots it into the same class as the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Mercedes-Benz GLA/GLB and Lexus NX. And there's certainly nothing Compass-like about its exterior, which looks credibly Alfa-like. LED lighting is standard; the fancy wheels on the models shown in these photos are not; you'll need the Veloce trim for those. Alfa's punching up a bit in the cabin too. A 10.25-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system is standard (the Stelvio's base screen is just 8.8 inches) and paired to a 12.3-inch digital cluster display skinned to look like a vintage Alfa Romeo instrument panel. The Uconnect system is integrated with Alfa Connected Services to enable over-the-air updates and other personalized functionality. Each Tonale can store five individual driver profiles accessible via a single touch and is compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. But while Alfa promises the Tonale will feel appropriately luxurious for its price point, this isn't aimed at the crowd that wants a soft, distant experience.
Alfa Romeo shows off Giulia, new logo in latest video
Wed, Jul 1 2015Alfa Romeo made big waves when it introduced the 510-horsepower Giulia last week. While we reveled in the handsome, chiseled looks, stout powertrain, spine-tingling singing voice, and uniquely Italian character, the red four-door distracted us from the company's other big announcement – its new logo. In a video aptly titled "Alfa Romeo is back," we see the sexy supersedan spear across the landscape, taillights blazing a trail and V6 exhaust teasing our ears. Before long, the car disappears, and we get a detailed look at Alfa's new, more modern logo. It's short and sweet, but is also a nice follow up to last week's debut video. For those who need a refresher on the Giulia itself, the top-of-the-line Quadrifoglio Verde model is powered by a twin-turbocharged V6 that's been built with help from the engine team at Ferrari. On top of that, there's an active front splitter, a perfect 50-50 weight distribution, and a torque-vectoring rear differential. So yes, Alfa's newest sedan sounds like an extremely tidy package. You can read up on everything we learned during the Giulia's debut in our complete coverage from last week. We've got the initial story on the car, dedicated notes from the reveal, and a few bits and bobs from the Alfa Romeo museum. Check out the video up top, and then click over and check out our other Alfa coverage. Related Video:
Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is dead after 2020, but look at this 33 Stradale Tributo
Mon, Dec 14 2020The Alfa Romeo 4C Spider is finally making its exit. Alfa quit selling the coupe in America starting with the 2019 model year, and now the roofless version will wrap up with the 2020 model year. There will be no 2021 4C Spider in the U.S. Alfa is not killing the 4C without a bang, though. In conjunction with the announcement of the car’s U.S. departure, Alfa has announced a 4C Spider 33 Stradale Tributo special edition model. ItÂ’s meant to honor the 1967 Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale, which is the iconic roadgoing version of the Tipo 33 race car. ItÂ’s gorgeous and works as a fitting send off to the mid-engine sports car that kickstarted AlfaÂ’s return to North America. There are a number of things changed or added with the 33 Stradale Tributo, but the single biggest difference is the red transparent finish to the carbon monocoque chassis (pictured above). The normally black exposed carbon fiber is now a glowing and translucent red, and itÂ’s rather striking. Additionally, Alfa paints it in an exclusive shade of red: Rosso Villa dÂ’Este tri-coat. It gets gray-gold wheels, a two-tone black and “tobacco” (brown) interior and special badging on the dash, side sills and center console. Everybody who buys one will also get a special, numbered book that goes over the 4C in detail. All 33 Stradale Tributo models will be fully loaded with options, too. Most importantly, it gets the Akropovic exhaust and race-tuned suspension. Alfa says a standard 4C with every option would be “thousands more,” so hey, youÂ’re getting a deal. The 33 Stradale Tributo will start at $81,590, and only 33 will be built. Considering that Alfa has only sold 92 4C Spiders throughout all of FCAÂ’s 2020 reported sales so far, they might be easier to get than you think. If you want one, Alfa says you should email (yeah, weird) them at: sales@alfaromeo.com. Related Video:
