2007 Acura Tl Type-s Sedan 4-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Pompano Beach, Florida, United States
This is literally the cleanest 2007 TL Type S for sale in South Florida. Best color combination you could get from the factory. I have been the only owner of the car since I bought it brand new in 2007. I have put my heart and soul (and my wallet) into this car. I wish I didn't have to sell but really need the money right now. Anything I put into this car was with the absolute best parts. I have done only cosmetic work to the car so it looks nice without the hassle of engine problems. I only put an AEM cold air intake to make it sound awesome, which it does. No rips in the leather. I have only put 93 octane gas and only used fully synthetic oil. I had all the fluids flushed and did 100,000 mile service at 85,000 miles. Absolutely NO mechanical problems ever since Ive had the car. Non-smoker. The car now has 107,xxx on it and were mainly highway miles as I was commuting to work. Clean title with zero accidents (you can run the VIN). Car: 2007 Acura TL Type S. Comes standard with every option including touchscreen navigation, bluetooth, paddle shifters, 3.5L VTEC engine, two-tone interior, backup camera, sunroof, MP3 multi-disc player, etc. 107,xxx miles. Automatic transmission. Sticker was $39,645 This is a breakdown of the mods and money I put into it (even though I know I won't get much of it back) Exterior: Suspension: This is the most expensive part I put on the car Interior is stock (but still sick) and engine only has an AEM cold air intake. I put the new 2014 Navigation disc for $150 in also so it is up to date. Also got TL all weather floor mats for $200. Pros: Cons: By no means am I trying to downplay the car. It is amazing as is for what it is. I am just OCD about the car and want every single thing to be perfect on it. I would fix it all up myself but don't have the money and I know I wouldn't be able to let go of the car if there was no flaws, I guess I'm emotionally attached lol. This car is in great condition. Only unusual problem I had since Ive had the car is the motor mounts broke but I replaced them a while ago so good to go. I know this posting is long but I just want to be thorough about the cars history and because I am passionate about this and want to be honest with the buyer. Kelly Blue Book private party value is $15500-16000. I have put over $50000 in the car throughout the years (including purchase price) and only want $15000 firm. Contact me at 9546573025 contact info anytime for questions or to meet up. Call, text and email all work. |

Acura releases yet another NSX track teaser vid
Sat, 03 Aug 2013On Sunday, August 4th (yep, that's tomorrow), a prototype version of the all-new Acura NSX will make its public track debut ahead of the Honda 200 IndyCar race. Acura has already given us a short video snippet to enjoy, but now it's added one more to get our hearts racing just a little more.
Before you watch it, make sure your speakers or headphones are turned up, because what the low-resolution video lacks in visual quality, it more than makes up for with its audio of the NSX's exhaust screaming as the car tackles Mid-Ohio. And at the end of the video, the caption reads "watch the NSX racing prototype take a lap."
Acura isn't joking either. From what we hear, the car is expected to take one lap before the race and then disappear for the weekend. Scroll down to see and hear the NSX in action.
Acura reveals performance EV concept called Performance EV Concept
Thu, Aug 15 2024After teasing a new EV concept for Monterey, Acura made good on its promise Thursday with the unveiling of its rather plainly named Performance EV Concept. Good news: Acura's first in-house EV will be a performance car. Bad news: It's not the one we all hoped it would be. Instead, we're getting another model in the grand tradition of the ZDX — pronounced front end and all. It seems that look is here to stay, so get used to it, because Acura says it plans to build a production model based on this concept starting in late 2025. That's noteworthy not just because this is Acura's first in-house EV, but because it'll be the first production car to ride on any variant of Honda's new BEV architecture. The mainstream brand is planning to put something based on its 0 Series "Saloon" concept into production in 2026. That's quite the coup (no "e") for Acura, which spent most of the past two years talking about the Ultium-based ZDX project, which by all accounts will be the first and last Acura-badged product of Honda's tie-up with General Motors and its Ultium EV platform. As you can probably surmise, Acura remains tight-lipped about specifics. Honda (and by extension, Acura) "concept" vehicles have a funny habit of being put into production almost exactly as they sit, so what you see here is likely pretty close to the mystery CUV's final physical form, but battery and motor specs remain nebulous for the time being. We expect a multi-motor setup engineered to mimic the behavior of the SH-AWD system Acura offers in its ICE vehicles. The concept's massive 23-inch wheels encircle a set of four-piston calipers and crossed-drilled rotors — the two most significant hints that we're looking at something meant to move quickly. If you're in Northern California for Car Week, you can check out Acura's concept at The Quail. The company's presentation is scheduled for 10:36 a.m. local time (What is this, a train schedule?) on Friday.Â
Editors' Picks June 2022 | Acura MDX and the revamped GMC Sierra
Tue, Jul 12 2022This month of Editors' Picks include a pair of excellent vehicles vying for a spot at the top of their respective classes. GM has long disappointed us with its latest generation of Silverado and Sierra pickups, but the 2022 update is a turning point. Plus, Acura rounds out its MDX lineup with a Type S model, and it's enough to earn an Editors' Pick. In case you missed our previous Editors' Picks posts, here’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in June that earned an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Ultimate View 44 Photos Quick take: GM fixes the GMC Sierra's biggest flaw this year with a new interior. Plus, it gains the AT4X trim for more off-road prowess and keeps all that was good from before. Score: 8.0 What it competes with: Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titan, Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Pros: Top-notch luxury interior, stout capability, wide range of great powertrains Cons: Ride is flinty/rough, looks that divide From the editors: Road Test Editor Zac Palmer — "It really depends on what trim level you spring for with the Sierra. Buy the Denali Ultimate, and the interior is just as good as the competition. If you're not going all out on luxury features, though, at least get the diesel. It's the smoothest operating diesel engine out there, and it's also efficient. This is one great truck when you set it up in the ideal configurations." Senior Editor James Riswick — "The GMC Sierra Denali interior has gone from "They just didn't try" to "They tried harder than everyone else." The Denali Ultimate's design, detailing and materials are particularly impressive. If you want a luxury truck, this delivers." It has great looks, a sumptuous and sporty interior and even offers a Type S performance variant.
