This is hard for me to do but I'm selling my 06 Type s. I've had it for about two and half years and bought it complety stock. Pretty much anything that has ever been done to it has been done myself to make sure its been done right. This car has always been taken extremely good care of. Never driven in the snow or for that matter its never even been snowed on. There is absolutely nothing wrong with this vehicle in any aspect. Oil always changed every 3500 miles only wig royal purple oil, along with all other maintenance requirements. If you had to nit pick one thing wrong with this vehicle is that its been rebuilt. Buy please I encourage you to car fax it, and take it to any mechanic and try to find something wrong with it. Enough about all.this though ill tell you about the car and what I added to it pretty much in order.

-20% tint all the way around
-Custom decal accents on the inside and out
-Injen cold air intake
-skunk2 megapower 72cm exhaust
-Red Brembo brake caliper covers
-Lowered about 2" on Function and Form type 1 fully adjustable coilovers.
-1" wheel spacers on all four wheels
-Adjustable camber kit on the front and back
-Rims shop painted gloss black
-Hondata Reflash
-Custom Blue LED lighting all through the interior and around the head lights
-Color change or select underglow LEDs underneath (currently not working)
-Debaged and painted he Acura A's white.
-HID 10,000 headlight and fog lights
-and more, the entire soundsystem is going too, but that's only for the absolute best price. its not a cheap set up.

Whomever buys this car I hope to keep in touch and become friends because I have put a lot of money and a ton of time into this vehicle and hope that the next owner appreciates it as much as I do.

Please feel free to message me at anytime for any questions or more pics.

Thanks

What Is, What Could Have Been, And What May Yet Be
History is largely unkind to losers. That's true in the world of politics and sports, and it follows on with a few caveats in the realm of automobiles.
In terms of cars, historic losers tend to be remembered in one of two broad ways. Every once in a while, unsuccessful or oddball models actually make reputational gains after some time away from the new-car marketplace. I consider the Saab 9-2X one of the recent poster children for this group; a car that moved like molasses on dealer lots in the mid-2000s but has morphed into a sort of hard-to-find, used gem in recent years. More often, though, that which was unloved when new remains unloved with tens or hundreds of thousands of miles on the odometer. Pontiac's seriously misunderstood Aztek has king status here (despite the wailings of oddball fan clubs across the nation), so much so that invoking "Aztek" as a pejorative stopped being pithy about a dozen years ago.

Acura preps ILX for endurance racing challenge

Thu, 01 Nov 2012

Acura has used the occasion of this year's SEMA show to unveil a 2013 ILX that is remarkably different from the road-going car that we are familiar with. A far distance from the rather mildly performing street car, this ILX Endurance Racer is actually prepped to race at the grueling 25 Hours of Thunderhill in Willows, California.
The ILX racers (Team Honda Research has prepped two of them for the race) have actually each been constructed using two donor ILX sedans: one body-in-white chassis and one full production-spec car that donates powertrain, interior and electronic components. Overall, increasing the performance of the car was done mostly through extensive weight reduction rather than bumps in power. No figures have been given for the output of the ILX's K24Z7 engine, though we are told that a custom intake and exhaust have been fitted, as well as a racing flywheel.
A prominent LED lighting system dominates the front fascia of the ILX, along with a huge front splitter, while a massive wing speaks to the intentions of the car.

Snapshots from Acura NSX prototype run at Mid-Ohio

Mon, 05 Aug 2013

Acura's achingly slow showing of the new, hybrid NSX saw yet another step yesterday, as we reported late last week. A powder-blue prototype ran ahead of the open-wheelers at the Honda Indy 200 at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. Why show the NSX Prototype at Mid-Ohio? Honda's Ohio research and development center, which has taken the lead on NSX development, is just 60 miles from the track. And as race sponsor, Honda must have figured it would give the spectators a glimpse of the new supercar it's been teasing for the better part of a decade.
With a planned launch in 2015 (special emphasis on the "planned" part, considering the NSX's history), the NSX Prototype shown here sports graphics that "speak to Acura's intention to go racing with the new NSX." That's great news for fans of endurance racing, although it remains to be seen when a motorsports program for the new NSX will get off the ground.
Take a look at the fresh gallery of images, and be sure to head over to our original Mid-Ohio post for the video footage of the NSX Prototype on track.
