2007 Acura Rdx Tech W/ Remote Start Nav Bluetooth Reverse Camera on 2040-cars

I am selling my 2007 Acura RDX. I have only had the car for about a year and a half. I believe that I am the 2nd owner. I have not had to fix a single thing since I owned the car and as far as I know there is nothing wrong with the car. I am selling because I got a company car so I don't need it anymore. It really is an awesome little truck. It's got great "pick up", it's great in the snow and just all around drives great. My new car is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I actually like the RDX more. It drives like a car but has more room and feels safer for driving a baby around as it is a bit higher up. It is equipped with Acura's SH-AWD system. (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) and is great in the snow & rain.
Condition: The body is in good shape and has not been in any accidents as far as I know. The car is 8 years old now so there are some scratches here and there but nothing horrendous. Also, I don't believe that any went down to bare metal. Everything should be visible in the pictures that I provided. Also, there are a few small dings here and there. Namely, there are 2 on the wheel wells (also should be visible in pictures). The rear bumper has some chipping, as pictured. I'm not sure what it's from as it was there when I bought the vehicle but the bumper is plastic so you don't have to worry about it rusting. Interior: The interior is in very good condition and as far as I know, everything works perfectly. The drivers seat is a bit worn of course, but everything else is very good. There is a small loose panel on the side of the dash. Sometimes it pops out bit and you just have to pop it back in with your hand. Not a big deal at all and it doesn't affect anything. All electronics (bluetooth, reverse camera, nav, satelite radio) work great. Maintenance: I have had synthetic oil changes done every 4000 miles. Installed K&N air filter about 8 months ago. Installed high quality EBC Green brake pads as well as EBC front rotors last summer. The upgraded pads and rotors really help stop it better. Replaced 1 blown speaker in drivers door. No other maintenance performed as I have not had a single problem with the car since owning it. Additions: I had an Avital Remote Start professionally installed. Added Weathertech trunk mat Add Acura Cargo Net This vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty and has been described to the best of my ability. Contact me with any questions. 2023 Acura Integra A-Spec Interior Review: How it compares to Civic
Mon, Aug 1 2022For better and for worse, the 2023 Acura Integra borrows a lot from the Honda Civic. The air vents may seem like the most obvious bits, but they are in fact different: the Civic's mesh consists of hexagons whereas the Integras are diamonds. Wow, right? The little air direction nubs seem to be the same. Personally, I think the Civic's full-width application looks more special and even premium, especially given the Integra's rather blah gray dash trim, but shrug. Otherwise, the switchgear is identical, including the steering wheel, climate controls, stalks and touchscreen(s). The two center console designs are also shared, one for CVT-equipped cars and the other for manual-equipped cars like this one, although there are a few differences I'll mention later. How much does this really matter? Ultimately, you can decide, but for now, let's do the full James Cameron and deep dive into the Integra A-Spec interior. Alright, since I've already talked about them, here are the Integra A-Spec and Civic Hatchback with six-speed manual side by side. We haven't taken a pic of the Si interior at the same angle (and Honda seems to have given up on its usual exceptional press photo packages), so just imagine more red and a shifter similar to (but not the same as!) the Integra's. And here's the vent comparison. Again, the Civic Si has red trim surrounding the hexagon mesh instead of silver. Here's that aforementioned blah gray dash trim. Those dots are textured, but in general, it lacks a certain premium appearance. The rest of the dash trim is sufficiently low sheen and padded. Speaking of low sheen and padded, let's talk door trim. While at first glance the front and back door tops look the same, they are not. Look closer and you'll see the pattern is slightly different, which is indicative of the fact that the front doors have a soft-touch rubbery material and the back doors are rock-hard plastic. This is definitely more compact car than luxury car. This Upstairs, Downstairs theme continues ... Let's talk seats and upholstery. This is an A-Spec, which means it gains access to the optional Red interior. Yes, just literally "Red" whereas your other choices are "Ebony," "Orchid" and "Graystone." That's not the weird bit. While all seats are "Red," they do not have the same upholstery. The front seats have centers in micro-suede fabric with leatherette bolsters in red and black. Sorry, "Ebony." The back seats are just leatherette. Weird, right?
New 2022 Acura MDX platform to underpin future Hondas
Mon, Feb 15 2021The 2022 Acura MDX introduces a new platform to the Acura and Honda lineup called the Global Light Truck Platform, and it's currently exclusive to the MDX. The new 2021 Acura TLX is also built on a totally new platform that isn’t shared with any other Honda or Acura. Going further back, when the redesigned 2019 RDX debuted, Acura said that model was built on “a new-from-the-ground-up, Acura-exclusive platform." ThatÂ’s three totally-new and Acura-exclusive platforms in a short time period, and it got us thinking. What is Acura up to here? Most manufacturers these days are increasingly going in the exact opposite direction. VolkswagenÂ’s MQB architecture underpins everything from the hot hatch GTI to the gigantic Atlas. ToyotaÂ’s TNGA platform has multiple sizes/versions, but Toyota still considers them related and will tell you that TNGA is the basis of cars from the Corolla on up to the Highlander, plus the Lexus UX and ES. You can find similar stories all across the industry, in both luxury and non-luxury brands. Acura, on the other hand, appears to be taking a totally different approach. To get some clarity on strategy, we reached out to Acura. The answers are multifaceted, but Acura says it's spending money where it pays dividends for performance — but there's also more sharing between models than it might look like on the surface. “The definition of what constitutes a 'common platform' varies by automaker,” Acura exclusively told Autoblog during a wide-ranging e-mail interview involving the input of numerous engineers and product planners. “For us, the most fundamental value is to maintain the same carry points throughout production and enable us to produce different vehicles in the same manufacturing environment.” As an example, the TLX and RDX feature similar carry points in the chassis to enable their production on the same line, but thatÂ’s where the two diverge. “The TLX is different in that it has a bespoke platform that is not shared with any other Acura or Honda vehicle,” Acura says.
Acura prices hand-built TLX PMC Edition at $50,945
Wed, Jul 10 2019Acura unveiled the 2020 TLX PMC Edition sedan at this year's New York Auto Show along with the MDX PMC Edition Prototype. Both models adopt the same hand-finished build processes employed at Honda's Performance Manufacturing Center to create the Acura NSX. In the case of the sedan, that means a body-in-white pulled off the line at Honda's Marysville plant so that PMC technicians can install the interior, drivetrain, suspension, wiring harnesses, and electronics. After that, the TLX PMC undergoes the same quality control checks conducted on the NSX, including a dyno run and water leak test. The price: $50,945, which includes $1,995 for handling and destination. In addition to the craftsmanship, the sedan combines two options that normally cannot be combined, the A-Spec and Advance Packages. They install the 290-horsepower 3.5-liter V6 and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive, the A-Spec's stiffer dampers and quicker steering ratio, plus sharper exterior components like the restyled bumper, larger exhaust tips, and gloss black roof panel. Comfort features include heated and ventilated front sport seats, leather and Alcantara seating, black leather steering wheel, black headliner, surround-view camera, heated rear seats, and Acura's 10-speaker ELS Studio audio system. Cosmetic go-fast changes are seen in the red instrument cluster and red accent lighting. The whole package gets drenched in Valencia Red Pearl paint formerly exclusive to the NSX but making one special appearance here, the crimson infused with mica, metal flake and "nano pigments" for keener color. Black, 10-spoke, 19-inch wheels anchor the sedan to the road. The U.S. will see just 360 examples of the TLX PMC, each one numbered with a plaque on the dash. Deliveries to dealers begin this month — each sedan transported in a single-car carrier. The entire production run is scheduled to take six months, after which we're told Acura will begin working on the MDX PMC.
