2007 Acura Rdx Tech W/ Remote Start Nav Bluetooth Reverse Camera on 2040-cars

I am selling my 2007 Acura RDX. I have only had the car for about a year and a half. I believe that I am the 2nd owner. I have not had to fix a single thing since I owned the car and as far as I know there is nothing wrong with the car. I am selling because I got a company car so I don't need it anymore. It really is an awesome little truck. It's got great "pick up", it's great in the snow and just all around drives great. My new car is a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I actually like the RDX more. It drives like a car but has more room and feels safer for driving a baby around as it is a bit higher up. It is equipped with Acura's SH-AWD system. (Super Handling All Wheel Drive) and is great in the snow & rain.
Condition: The body is in good shape and has not been in any accidents as far as I know. The car is 8 years old now so there are some scratches here and there but nothing horrendous. Also, I don't believe that any went down to bare metal. Everything should be visible in the pictures that I provided. Also, there are a few small dings here and there. Namely, there are 2 on the wheel wells (also should be visible in pictures). The rear bumper has some chipping, as pictured. I'm not sure what it's from as it was there when I bought the vehicle but the bumper is plastic so you don't have to worry about it rusting. Interior: The interior is in very good condition and as far as I know, everything works perfectly. The drivers seat is a bit worn of course, but everything else is very good. There is a small loose panel on the side of the dash. Sometimes it pops out bit and you just have to pop it back in with your hand. Not a big deal at all and it doesn't affect anything. All electronics (bluetooth, reverse camera, nav, satelite radio) work great. Maintenance: I have had synthetic oil changes done every 4000 miles. Installed K&N air filter about 8 months ago. Installed high quality EBC Green brake pads as well as EBC front rotors last summer. The upgraded pads and rotors really help stop it better. Replaced 1 blown speaker in drivers door. No other maintenance performed as I have not had a single problem with the car since owning it. Additions: I had an Avital Remote Start professionally installed. Added Weathertech trunk mat Add Acura Cargo Net This vehicle is sold as-is with no warranty and has been described to the best of my ability. Contact me with any questions. Acura doesn't have plans for a new MDX hybrid
Tue, Dec 8 2020Besides an entirely new platform, suspension, and a turbocharged Type S model coming soon, the 2022 Acura MDX is new in another way: it seems to be losing its hybrid trim level. During a media roundtable, Acura's global development lead confirmed that there are no plans for a hybrid version of the new MDX. Part of the reason for the lack of a hybrid for the new MDX is the aforementioned Type S model. The Acura development lead noted that the outgoing MDX Sport Hybrid is the current sporty, high-output version of the crossover. That mantle is now being taken over by the Type S with its turbocharged 3.0-liter V6. The new Type S makes 355 horsepower and 355 pound-feet of torque, which also represents a large power increase over the Sport Hybrid's 321 horsepower and 289 pound-feet. The Type S won't be able to do everything the Sport Hybrid could do, though. While official fuel economy numbers haven't been revealed, we're confident the Type S won't be able to hit the 27 mpg combined of the hybrid. The Sport Hybrid's powertrain was also quite interesting, as it combined its 3.0-liter naturally aspirated V6 with a trio of electric motors. A single motor worked in conjunction with the engine to power the front wheels, and one motor each powered the rear wheels and provided torque vectoring. It was sort of like a backwards NSX. While Acura doesn't have plans for a hybrid right now, it is possible the brand could change its mind. And in an ever electrifying world, it would be surprising if we never saw a hybrid MDX return. 2021 Acura TLX A-Spec vs. Type S, Polestar 2 and Genesis G70 | Autoblog Podcast #700
Fri, Oct 15 2021In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Associate Editor Byron Hurd for the 700th installment. It's a premium-focused rundown as the two start off discussing Autoblog's long-term Acura TLX A-Spec and the Type S that is currently standing in for it, followed by some impressions of the Polestar 2 (and how it feels relative to its Volvo cousins) and a look at the 2022 Genesis G70 Launch Edition. Then, in "Spend My Money," they try to address a rather broad request for a pre-owned vehicle with only a handful of requirements.  Send us your questions for the Mailbag and Spend My Money at: Podcast@Autoblog.com. Watch two Acura NSXs scorch the Nurburgring
Sat, Aug 12 2017Some intrepid spy shooter captured these two Acura NSXs blasting around the Nurburgring. Without being there in person with a decibel meter, it's hard to tell if they're necessarily louder than stock cars, but they sure seem quick. Why test the cars now, when they've been on sale for a while now? Rumors are swirling that this could be a hardcore variant. It's unclear if Honda would call it a Type R, but a midlife refresh with a bit more power or a special limited edition with some extra kick wouldn't be unprecedented. The original NSX had several such models, and recent sports cars like the S2000 had low-volume editions, like the Club Racer variant in the United States and the Type S in Japan. Watch the video and draw your own conclusions about what this is or isn't. One thing's for sure: It's not a pure-EV variant. In other things recent about the NSX, we learned last month that an NSX GT3 non-hybrid race car version will go on sale soon. And here's our first drive of the US Acura-badged NSX from back in 2015. And here's another video from inside the cockpit during an open track day back in June.
