Hi Ebayers, I have for sale here my dream car that I tried to put back to that fresh nice new look, but my situation has changed and i'm back to school and i won't have time for this project for another 2 years or so.

It's a 1991 Acura Nsx, coupe Black on Black, 5 speed. It has 153xxx miles and it does have a salvage title due to a damage back in 2000, the right side door and fender were damaged and the car being very expensive in that year still the insurance salvaged it even tho the damage was not that extensive. I bought the car in April of 2012 to do the project so I do not have pictures of the damage and I also do not have much info on the accident. I'm relying solely on what the prior owner told me about it and also the history report found on Carfax. To my knowledge the body frame was not damaged and nothing else was damaged other than the right door and fender which you can notice since the paint is also faded due to sun exposure since i see the clear coat peel off. I tried to cover up the bad paint parts with 3M Carbon Fiber overlay so it wouldn't look as bad while i saved money to get a proper paint job on it, so the hood, headlight covers, roof, truck and rear spoiler are covered, and since it did not come with oem wheels and i hate chrome wheels then i covered them up with 3M as well. Other than that the car is pretty much stock. The A/C works great only on the high setting and the controller needs to be replaced or repaired for it to work properly, i've seen a repair ad here on ebay for $90 so this is a very easy fix. All lights work, headlights pop up and down without any issues, Oem radio with the screen not coming on at times but it does turn on. I replaced the leather on the seats as it was old and cracked with brand new 100% leather and center inserts are perforated to let the leather breathe better in hot weather as the newer model Nsx' have this type of seats. The center console and left switch plate was covered in carbon fiber overlay as well as it was bubbling up. The car drives great without any issues, i've just replaced the oil and just paid the current registration so it's ready to go to a new home.
I have described this car as best to my ability but If you have any other questions please send me a message or if you are from another state and rather talk to me to arrange a meeting or just to come pick up the car, i can help you either drive this car to a shipping facility or meet you at the local airport if you want to fly here. 562-7626422 Please take consideration of the time difference. I don't want to be called or texted during 10pm and 9am California time.

2020 Acura RDX Review and Buying Guide | Target re-acquired

Thu, Jul 25 2019

The 2020 Acura RDX is a bold compact luxury crossover that represents a return to its roots – providing some athleticism and adrenaline to a segment not known for either. We think this is a positive development, as the previous RDX lost its way a bit. However, that last RDXÂ’s biggest strength was its very spacious interior for its overall size, which carries over to the new version despite the increased athleticism. These arenÂ’t usually attributes that go together; sporty vehicles can be smaller, with poor space utilization. That isnÂ’t the case here. The turbocharged engine and advanced all-wheel drive system mean the RDX is as lively as any crossover buyer could want. The bottom line is that it has more character and a superior combination of attributes than many of its sport-luxury competitors. WhatÂ’s new with for 2020? The RDX carries over mostly unchanged for 2020 after receiving a complete redesign last year. ThereÂ’s a turbocharged engine under the hood again, instead of the V6 in the last-generation model, and the technologically-advanced Super-Handling All-Wheel Drive system also makes a return. On the outside, the chrome grille “beak” has thankfully vanished, and thereÂ’s some nifty tech in the slick interior – although its signature touchpad infotainment controller is a mixed bag. More on that below. You can read about last year's changes more fully in our 2019 Acura RDX First Drive, but in short, it's sportier, more distinctive and more luxurious than its predecessor. Part of that is the fact it's no longer based on the same vehicle platform as Honda's CR-V.   View 9 Photos What are the interior and in-car technology like? The RDXÂ’s interior is a nice place to be. In the upscale A-Spec trim we tested, most surfaces are covered with soft, premium-looking materials, including perforated leather, soft-touch plastics, and classy-looking vinyl. The RDX introduces AcuraÂ’s True Touchpad Interface, which controls the infotainment system and its 10.2-inch screen with a center-console-mounted touchpad rather than a touchscreen interface. While itÂ’s certainly a step in the right direction, the system has a relatively steep learning curve and lacks any haptic feedback. ItÂ’s ultimately not as intuitive as weÂ’d like, and that is important because itÂ’s an interface youÂ’ll be using all the time in an RDX – including to interface with the standard Apple CarPlay functionality. Note that, as of this writing, Android Auto is not supported.

2013 Acura ILX Hybrid

This Is Not The Acura You're Looking For
Mid-level luxury brands have always had to do a bit of leg work to distance themselves from their more common cousins. Thanks to generation after generation of pervasive badge engineering (much of it from the Big Three), buyers can't be blamed for looking at brands like Buick, Lincoln, Infiniti, Lexus and yes, Acura as tarted up versions of Chevrolet, Ford, Nissan, Toyota and Honda products. For much of its lifetime in the automotive landscape, however, Acura has excelled at putting distance between its offerings and that of its parent company thanks to cars with superior driving dynamics, quieter cabins and clean, attractive aesthetics.
Yes, outliers and dull spots can be found in the company's recent track record, but by and large, Acura products remain situated well above the Honda rabble. When the brand announced it was getting serious about the luxury small car game with the ILX, those of us with a set of the company's keys in our past couldn't help but envision an honest successor to the long-dead Integra. Turns out, that wasn't what Acura had in mind.

Reliving the Acura NSX debut, 25 years later

Sat, 03 May 2014

The Acura NSX might be one of the most important Japanese cars ever created. The Land of the Rising Sun had already established that it could make very competent performance vehicles when the NSX debuted in 1989, but Honda's two-seater was the first one that looked to the world like a true contender against Ferrari and Porsche, thanks to its cutting-edge technology. The Acura had an all-aluminum monocoque chassis, a beautifully low-slung body and a quick-revving V6 with an 8,000-rpm redline. This quintessential Japanese sports coupe celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and Autoweek recognizes it in a fantastic piece chronicling the model's US launch.
The story begins in February 1989 at the Chicago Motor Show where the car debuted. The day before the show opened, the concept still didn't have a name. The Japanese development team referred to it as New Sports, and the American Acura executives decided to add eXperimental to the end. The moniker NSX just stuck afterwards.
The article paints a fantastic portrait of the car and the company at the time. Honda had something to prove with the NSX. To succeed, the coupe had to be the best, and when the American press finally got a hold of it, they drowned it in accolades. Of course, Acura has a new American-built NSX on the way, and it has colossal legacy to live up to. This piece is definitely worth reading to understand why.
