2008 Gray Acura Mdx Sh-awd on 2040-cars
New York, New York, United States
Up for sale is my 2008 Acura MDX with 96,280 Miles on it. This MDX was purchased in 2011 from a certified pre-owned Acura Dealership. It's in great condition, very well kept no smoking or pets in the vehicle just normal wear on the leather as you would expect from a 2008 model. Miles are 95% highway as I work 1 hour away from my home, the engine purrrs beautifully and is an all around very fast SUV that is ready to go the second you tap the pedal. It is still under the Acura Warranty Care for 100,000 Miles. The title is currently still under Lien so we may go to the bank together to pay off the amount owed, or we can set up an escrow it's not complicated at all and can be done fairly easy. Bid with confidence and if you are in the NYC area you are more than welcomed to see the car in person, and test drive it if you are serious about purchasing. Thanks for visiting! Contact me with questions, and more pictures if needed. |

Honda recalling 871,000 SUVs and minivans over rollaway fear
Wed, 12 Dec 2012Honda is recalling 871,000 SUVs and minivans for an issue in which the vehicles may roll away after the key has been removed from the ignition. Ninety-two percent of the recalled vehicles, or 807,000 vehicles, are in the US. According to a report from Reuters, the effected vehicles include certain numbers of the Honda Odyssey and Pilot, as well as the Acura MDX. Here are the recall figures:
2003-2004 Honda Odyssey: 318,000 vehicles
2003-2004 Honda Pilot: 259,000 vehicles
Acura claims MDX is best-selling luxury 3-row ever
Fri, 11 Jul 2014Business for Acura has been in a weird place, recently, and the company's latest car launches have been especially rocky. For example, the ILX Hybrid was recently discontinued after just two model years with only about 2,660 sold in that time. The company also delayed the launch of its new TLX by a few months until later this summer. However, despite its issues with sedans, the automaker's utility-vehicle business in absolutely booming. In fact, it now claims that the MDX is the best-selling three-row, luxury SUV, ever.
The MDX is already leading its class this year with 30,664 units sold through June 2014, up 68.4 percent compared 2013. Also, in five of the last six months of reported sales, Acura has posted gains. It appears that the company's utility lineup is really pushing it along.
To take the bestseller ever crown, Acura claims that through its three generations, the MDX has sold a cumulative 692,710 units. The premium model has also been at the top of the annual sales rankings for three-row luxury crossovers every year since 2002. The company believes that its nearest competitor is the Lincoln Navigator with an estimated 420,000 lifetime sales, and even arguably more comparable vehicles like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz M-Class only have 350,000 or fewer sales under their belts. Of course, it probably doesn't hurt that the MDX has one of the lower starting prices in its class.
Acura aiming for Chinese production by 2016
Fri, 19 Jul 2013Not wanting to be left out of the emerging luxury car bonanza in China, Automotive News is reporting that Acura could begin producing vehicles in the Asian country by 2016. Like Audi, Mercedes-Benz and BMW, Acura will reportedly build vehicles in China using a local partner - Guangzhou Automobile Group Co. in Acura's case - while Cadillac and Infiniti will build their own vehicles locally.
Guangzhou already produces Honda models in China, but the article says that the first Acura produced in that country could be a new compact model based on the Acura SUV-X Concept (shown above), a showcar revealed in April at the Shanghai Motor Show. China's luxury car market is expected to grow to 2.7 million units a year by the end of this decade, which would put it on pace to make it the largest premium car market in the world.
