The car has been deemed total loss by insurance, but has a clear title since it is more than 8 years old. Buyer is responsible for transporting this vehicle from my driveway. Deposit due immediately upon end of auction.

The car has 42,126 ORIGINAL miles. The car was involved in a front end accident recently and insurance has deemed it a total loss. See pics for damage. I have included a pic from the last time it was detailed which is the condition it was in before the accident.The car still has a clean NJ title, not a salvage/rebuilt title.This vehicle is absolutely restorable or an amazing parts car. The engine/transmission/seats/(body parts other than front end) are still 100%. The beige leather seats are in amazing condition (detailed/conditioned annually). The rims have minor curb rash and the Michelin tires still have 80% tread (only 3 rims/tires because the front right was damaged in the accident). The car drove better than new cars today. Mobil1 oil change done every 6 months even though the car was barely driven. No leaks or anything. The airbags were deployed so those are not useful.CAR WILL HAVE TO BE TOWED AT BUYER'S EXPENSE. CAR SOLD AS IS.

eBay Find of the Day: S.H.I.E.L.D. Acura TL from The Avengers

If you're a fan of The Avengers from 2012, then here's your chance at owning a piece of movie memorabilia. Following last year's auction of a Acura MDX from that movie, Scottsdale Motor Company is now listing another S.H.I.E.L.D. vehicle on eBay Motors - this time a 2012 Acura TL.
Unlike the MDX, this TL has fewer modifications limited to the custom front push bumper, matte-black paint job and the various LED emergency lights in the back window and in the front bumper, while the inside appears untouched with the exception of small auxiliary switches. The current auction price of this car $32,900 - compared to the $41,535 MSRP of a new TL with Advance Package back in 2012 - but this is a steal compared to the movie-prop Monroney that comes with the car listing the "palladium-powered" sedan at $227,085. The seller says that this car was only one of five built for the movie, and it only has 1,111 miles on the odometer.
After the S.H.I.E.L.D. MDX and TL, we can only hope that Scottsdale Motor Company will offer Tony Stark's Acura NSX Roadster as its next movie car auction.

Acura ILX Hybrid discontinued for 2015

Earlier today, Acura issued a press release detailing its entry-level 2015 ILX range, but something was missing. Honda's luxury arm listed all of the information about the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter and 2.4-liter ILX models, but nothing was said about the Hybrid - a model that, when we reviewed it in 2013, left us utterly cold. But now we know why: Acura has confirmed to Autoblog that the ILX Hybrid will be discontinued for the 2015 model year.
The company issued the following statement to us regarding the hybrid's demise:
The 2015 ILX remains a standout choice in the entry premium segment with its combination of performance, luxury, refinement and value and is the top-selling luxury vehicle to younger buyers. Based on the stronger appeal of the ILX 2.0 and 2.4 models, we are streamlining the ILX lineup to better align with customer demand, Acura will no longer offer the ILX Hybrid starting with the 2015 model year.
