"WELL OVER $25,000.00 INVESTED IN ALL CUSTOM WORK AND BMW PARTS" (NOT INCLUDING ACTUAL VEHICLE VALUE) *Be certain to read ALL of the features written all over this listing. ALL of the customized features are NOT listed only here under the "description", so be sure to read EVERYWHERE and EVERYTHING in ths listing so you are aware of all of the custom work that has been done. There are SO MANY customized things about this car, it would take up too much space here. I am saying this because there are other areas while I was setting up this listing where I had to list ALL options and features. At this point of setting up the listing, I just do not know where all of these things are going to end up being posted. Also, very important for you to be aware, is that I purchased this car the way you see it. I personally did NOT do any of the customized work on this vehicle. The only thing I have done since purchasing this car was normal maintenance. I also ONLY USE "FULLY SYNTHETIC OIL" for every single oil change! It is more expensive, but well worth it, especially for this "engine sent from engine"! Unfortunately, since I did not do ANY of the work on this car, nor do I know how to do ANY of this type of work, I may be unable to answer certain questions that you may have regarding anything to do with specifics on the customization process of this car. I am also open to "any" offer, but please do me a huge favor and do not insult my intelligence by making an offer that is obviously not fair and too low. I will only review REALISTIC OFFERS. The front end, rear end and side rear view mirrors were all used from an actual BMW vehicle. This is why most people that see the car think that it is a BMW. He also used true OEM "BMW" badges on both the front and the rear of the vehicle. My honest opinion when I first purchased the car, I also thought that it was some type of a BMW vehicle. After I purchased the car, I purchased chrome letters and numbers to put on the car for a "made up" model number!! LOL!! These can obviously be removed if you do not want a model number on the vehicle. This car drives, runs and handles EXTREMELY WELL. For such a small engine, this car is SUPER FAST!!! This is due to the fact that this vehicle has the RARE GS-R Model and the VTECH ENGINE. Also, having a manual transmission helps a lot too! This car is also extremely FUN TO DRIVE. You will never get sick of driving this car. Also be prepared that this car is a "REAL HEAD TURNER"!! When I stop at traffic lights, people have taken photos from their cell phones. People pull up next to me and wants to ask me a million questions about the car (while at a red light don't forget! LOL!!). Also, whenever I have to leave the car or get into the car and people see the door lift straight up, instead of "out" like all other cars, they go literally crazy! I would say that the Chameleon $12k paint job brings the most attention to the car. Depending on how the light hits the car, it has three (3) different colors (BLUE/PURPLE/EMERALD GREEN. The bottom line is when you see and drive this car you truly will only then understand how truly special this car really is. If you do NOT like "attention" then I highly recommend that you do NOT purchase this car! LOL! You are going to get a HUGE AMOUNT OF ATTENTION no matter what you do. Since the car's suspension is using Nitrogen Air along with the switch box (controls exactly which part of the car you want raised and/or lowered), you will need to have the canisters re-filled once they run out of air. I will provide you with two (2) tanks upon the delivery of the car. When I purchased the car, I was only given one (1) canister and then later purchased a second one. This makes it a lot easier and less of a hassle to have the tank(s) re-filled as often. The person I purchased the car from advised me that whenever he would "show" the car at a Car Show, he would DROP THE CAR ALL OF THE WAY TO THE GROUND, which makes it look extremely cool (you should NEVER drive the car in this low of a position. He also advised me that he would change it up every once in a while, for example, he would have the rear end up high and the front end down really low, or the other way around, and have the front end up really high and the back end really low. The great thing about having this air suspension is that you are able to customize the "lift" of the car at the touch of a button anytime! You should also NEVER change the suspension level while driving the car. Any suspension adjustments should be completed while the car is stopped and turned off (for safety reasons). It is also really cool how people always ask me "what BMW is that"? or "what the heck kind of car is that"? Believe me, you will get a million questions wherever you go with this car, especially if you have to open one or both of the doors on the car, because both doors open straight up instead of straight "out" like most cars. Once people see you get our or get into the car and have to open the door, you are pretty much guaranteed to get over loaded with people surrounding you, taking pictures with their cell phones, asking you questions, etc. etc. Honestly, if I am in a rush to go anywhere, there are times that I use a different regular car so that I am not held up with people. The person I purchased the car from also installed some type of "Cold Air Intake" in the engine. He advised me that it increases the power "big time". Since I do not know much about cars or engines in general, I really have no idea what this added feature is and do not know exactly how it improves the overall performance of the car. He also advised me that due to the installation of this Cold Air Intake, it makes certain lights on the dashboard light up, such as the "check engine" light and a few others. He told me that he was unable to hook this part up into the engine without these lights turning on the dashboard. He assumed that since the part was not installed by the manufacturer nor made by Acura (Honda), it will not accept it in the engine's computer. To be honest, I was a little worried about the "check engine" light being on, along with some others, but now, after owning the car and driving it for so long, I now know that there is absolutely nothing wrong that I was made aware of. There is SO MUCH MORE to write about this car that I could literally write a book! So, I will leave you with what I have already written and the photos for you to study. This is truly a "once in a lifetime" opportunity to own an EXTREMELY RARE AND WANTED Acura/BMW Integra GS-R Edition. You will NEVER be able to locate this EXTREMELY RARE VEHICLE at this low of a price again!!! Especially since it has under ONLY 70k original miles!!! VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION THAT INCREASES THE OVERALL VALUE OF THIS VEHICLE: Only 16% of ALL of the Acura Integra vehicles manufactured in 1998 have the GS-R Edition Engine with the "(VTECH) Vortec Engine"!!! I would think that this alone makes this car at least double or triple in value! Just think, obviously, anything that is extremely rare and hard to find increases the value automatically, in mostly any case, not just in cars alone, but in anything else also. I NEVER THOUGHT I WOULD "NEED" TO SELL THIS VEHICLE FOR THE REST OF MY ENTIRE LIFE! This truly is killing me to be in this position to have to sell my most important item in my life. I have been going through a 6 year divorce and have already spent over $300k between myself and my mother in order to get custody of my children. How can you place a price tag on a child's head? The answer is you CAN'T!!! My Mother just recently passed away in January after a long fight with cancer. My Mother actually sold her "paid in full" home and used ALL of the money towards this divorce! On top of that, myself and my Mother have accrued a ton of credit card debt. Now that she has passed away, our Final Divorce hearing is finally coming up VERY SOON! We have also finally hit "rock bottom" financially and I do not have a choice but to sell my car for a lot less than it is really worth. Our original plan was to use my Mother's credit cards for the Final Hearing. Now that she is no longer here, I am unable to use those credit cards to pay for the rest of this divorce hearing. Therefore, the ONLY things that I have left worth any money is this vehicle and a very small amount of jewelry of my Mothers. There also was NO LIFE INSURANCE. It is now just myself and my three (3) children left. I am currently on temporary disability until I am finally able to have an operation to repair a Severe Chronic Pain situation that I have been living with for many years. The reason I am telling you all of this is so that you understand and and most important "believe" the reason for the sale and why the price is SOOOOOOO LOW! If you have ANY questions and/or concerns, please be sure to email me PRIOR to placing any bids or purchasing the vehicle. Again, I will only seriously consider any Best Offers that do not insult my intelligence and are offers that are realistic. GOOD LUCK!! * The car does need some fiberglass work on the front and rear end. I apologize, but since I do not know pretty much anything about cars at all, I am not able to provide you with exact details regarding any of the exterior and interior work that needs to be completed. Keep in mind that when I purchased this car, I purchased it "AS IS" and ALL of the customized work had already been done. To be honest, it really does not matter what repairs the car needs because the price is SO LOW that no matter how much it would cost to make this car look like it just drove off of the "NEW CAR" lot, there is still a ton of profit left over to actually be able to purchase another very nice car! IMPORTANT: I would suggest for you to review the full "DESCRIPTION" of the condition of the vehicle and most importantly, is for you to review ALL of the photos for as long as you wish! p.s. Please also be aware that in the photos of the exterior of the car, the front hood was opened, and was NOT (out of line of the car). The hood was opened because I was trying to work on connecting a cable to the front hood so that it can be opened "under" the front of the car (and hidden from site 100%) in case of an emergency and need to gain access to the car's battery and entry into the car (since there are no door handles). Or if there is an emergency and need to gain access to the car, you can always open the hatchback and get inside of the vehicle. I never even thought about this issue when I purchased the car! Once I realized that the only way to get inside of a "regular" car is by using the door handles, I had to make sure that there were other options to gain entry. PAYMENT: Vehicle is to be picked up at the time of full payment being made to the seller (myself). Buyer agrees that immediately upon the winning of this auction you will pay the $500.00 non-refundable deposit using PayPal ONLY. Upon coming to pick up the vehicle the full balance must be paid in full using either CASH (suggested use), Cashier's Check, Money Order or PayPal ONLY. NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE EXCEPTED. There are no returns or refunds after the sale is completed. SHIPPING: The buyer agrees to pick up the car within 5-7 days or sooner after the ending of the auction. The seller will NOT pay for any delivery of this vehicle or ANY other associated costs involved with the delivery of the car to the buyer. If Buyer wants to have car shipped anywhere, it must be in the USA ONLY and at the cost of the buyer only. The costs must be added to the winning bid amount. Seller is willing to speak with you regarding the delivery of the car, but the car MUST BE PAID IN FULL PRIOR TO HAVING THE CAR SHIPPED ANYWHERE IN THE UNITED STATES. I am a very "open" person to suggestion, so if you have any ideas or concerns about having the car delivered, please email me in advance prior to the ending of the auction so that there is sufficient time to work out something before the auction ends and it is then too late. Please understand that I am not interested in delivering the vehicle anywhere and only want the vehicle picked up by the new owner or whoever is going to pay for the vehicle. The clear car title is here, and will need to be signed by both the seller (myself) and the buyer. Again, if you have any questions and/or concerns feel free to email me anytime and I will get back to you immediately. Please be certain to ask any questions or take care of any concerns PRIOR to placing any bids/offers or use the "Buy it Now" option. |

2019 Acura NSX Track Test Review | Exotic tech, exhilarating performance
Wed, Nov 7 2018EAST LIBERTY, Ohio — The 2019 Acura NSX makes sonorous noises behind my ear as the tachometer soars toward 7,500 rpm. My hands grip the squared-off steering wheel a bit too hard as I scrub off about 60 mph and dive into the first corner of the Transportation Research Center (TRC) dynamic handling course. There's 3,878 pounds of car beneath me, but the front tires do exactly what my hands tell them to, without hesitation, and I'm through the double apex corner without even thinking about the defiance of physics I just witnessed. On paper, a nearly 4,000-pound track car makes no sense. Yet in practice, it's just as tossable and eager to change direction as something much lighter. This is the NSX's party trick, thanks to some magic with the suspension and all-wheel drive system on this car. And while the new NSX is a very different vehicle than its predecessor, it was born of a similar spirit of innovation and forward thinking. The original Acura NSX hit the streets in 1991, establishing a new set of rules for every supercar released since. Constructed of an aluminum body — still an exotic material mainly used in competition vehicles — with curves that still drop jaws today, it was every bit as sophisticated as a Ferrari. But unlike Ferraris of the time, it was also reliable and easy to drive. Slide behind the wheel of a 1991 NSX, and you'll be transported back to a time when outward visibility was still in style. You can see the ground right in front of the nose. Turn around, and there's nothing blocking your view but a low wing. It's essentially a bubble canopy. Acura knows owners of the original NSX, your author included, absolutely love this about their cars. The effort to make the cockpit of the NSX similar is appreciated, even if modern crash standards prevent a perfect implementation. There are other subtle throwbacks. Every original NSX made a distinctive intake whine when winding it up to 8,000 rpm, and the new NSX has real intake noise physically pumped into the cabin to replicate this sweet sound all the way through the rev band. Another echo of the original is the simplified, sedate dash layout — eminently usable and likely to age well. A simplified version of the new RDX infotainment system would have fit the bill, too, but sadly it's not present. Under way, however, the generational similarities cease. Our time on this trip in the 2019 model was spent solely on track at TRC, and it was a wholly different experience from the old car.
Pair of perfect Honda NSX Type Rs go up for auction in Tokyo
Mon, May 20 2019While the original Acura NSX is a brilliant supercar in any of its iterations, we never got the best version of it here in America: the Type R. Those came with Honda badges and are right-hand drive only. Unless you're in Japan or are lucky enough to come see an imported example elsewhere, you're not going to come across one of these. To see two practically perfect examples go up for auction at the same time is an even rarer sight. Some first-generation NSX Type R models (1992-1995 model years) can be imported to the U.S. now that they have surpassed the 25-year mark. However, this 1995 model is still a hair too new. Should that stop you from buying it and waiting a few months to take U.S. delivery? Certainly not. This car being offered at Tokyo's BH Auction with a grand total of 534 miles on its odometer. The seller claims it's 100% original and in pristine condition. Honda did a lot to transform the NSX into the first Type R of many to come. To start, engineers cut 308 pounds out of the car by using aluminum in even more places than before, deleting sound deadening, eliminating the A/C and stereo and using carbon-kevlar Recaro bucket seats. The 3.0-liter V6 was balanced and blueprinted. Then the suspension was given a full makeover with stiffer dampers, springs, bushings and a larger front sway bar. There were plenty of other little things throughout, but we'll spare you the long list. The number you need to know most is the estimated auction price. BH Auction thinks this NSX Type R will go for $227,000 - $272,000. 2005 Honda NSX-R View 21 Photos Next up is the ultra-rare 2005 Honda NSX-R. This R was based-off the NA2 NSX, so it has a 3.2-liter V6 and six-speed manual transmission with the new bodystyle that ditches the pop-up headlights. The 2005 model year was the last for the first-gen NSX, meaning this R is just about as new as they come. Many of the modifications that Honda did for the first Type R were repeated here. This model used carbon fiber more judiciously, though, replacing the hood, deck lid and spoiler with the lightweight material. The auction house claims just 140 NA2 NSX-Rs were made, so this is an incredibly rare car. Sadly, nobody here will be able to import it and drive it on American roads for quite some time yet. The price is estimated to come in at $345,000 - $436,000. That's pricey but this NSX has an even lower odometer reading than the other at just 348 miles.
2013 Acura ZDX
Wed, 09 Oct 2013What Is, What Could Have Been, And What May Yet Be
History is largely unkind to losers. That's true in the world of politics and sports, and it follows on with a few caveats in the realm of automobiles.
In terms of cars, historic losers tend to be remembered in one of two broad ways. Every once in a while, unsuccessful or oddball models actually make reputational gains after some time away from the new-car marketplace. I consider the Saab 9-2X one of the recent poster children for this group; a car that moved like molasses on dealer lots in the mid-2000s but has morphed into a sort of hard-to-find, used gem in recent years. More often, though, that which was unloved when new remains unloved with tens or hundreds of thousands of miles on the odometer. Pontiac's seriously misunderstood Aztek has king status here (despite the wailings of oddball fan clubs across the nation), so much so that invoking "Aztek" as a pejorative stopped being pithy about a dozen years ago.
