We called Renee (he was referred to us) as soon as we stepped onto the lot, but he was not the annoying type of car salesman you typically run into. He was willing to listen to my needs and work with me to find what I wanted. We test drove the Mazda3 and look at the various trim options and packages available, including looking at other dealerships, since the exact combo of color, trim level and package was not on their lot. We found it, so now it`s time to deal. To this point I had the greatest respect for Renee and his organization, but the deal part was pretty one-sided. All in my favor. Don`t get me wrong, he wasn`t gouging me or doing anything unethical; he just did everything possible to make our purchase an enjoyable one. Most salesmen are not really answering the questions that were asked, but rather, providing an answer that is convenient. Again, Renee is unlike any other auto finance team. I absolutely love the my vehicle I just bought from Renee!...especially the price. I am such an indecisive person and had traveled around to many of the dealerships from Killeen to Austin to test driving vehicles. Not all relationships start out great. Sometimes they take time to get better and you end up really liking someone or something after some initial hurdles. And sometimes getting over those hurdles will actually make you more loyal than if you never went through them. These are very much "white people problems", so I feel silly admitting it. But details like these are important when making such a big purchase. It really wasn`t easy to get the car at other dealers because of my credit situation but everything changed immediately but I called Renee. He literally made what was starting off to be a rough entry into a new car a pretty incredible experience.
