Great job on my Toyota Tundra! nice guy that does the tint too, I think his name is Justin? i read the two bad reviews before going to the shop and it looked like competition because the grammar is spot on and that always grabs my attention on reviews! overall my experience was above par! good luck!

Did a great tint and alarm job on my tundra...Went to another shop they said i has to lose one of my keys if i had a remote start installed but this place was able to do it and i kept both keys...They did some type of upgraded tint on my wife`s Lexus and it stays much cooler then my truck so i would ask about that before getting it done!

In 2003, I had window tinting done on my new car (Honda Civic) at Alta Mere. They also installed my keyless entry. This past fall (2011), I noticed that the bottom edges of my rear window were bubbling. I was away at school at the time but was able to have the tinting repaired in January of 2012, because the product came with a lifetime warranty. There was about a $30 charge for labor to replace the tinting. I w... view moreas satisfied with the results, until I got home. I discovered that the pieces from the old tint were all over my trunk and back seat. They never bothered to clean up what they scraped off. I recently moved up north for a job. The first morning that my car was iced over, I discovered that the rear defroster did not work. I promptly contacted Alta Mere after verifying that all connections were intact and was told that this can be a result of scraping off the old tinting. The employee informed me that they "really steam the old tinting," and "I`ve never known this to happen, but it can happen with old tinting." I asked how to go about fixing this and simply was told, "Well, you have to replace the windshield." After further inspection of my warranty, the fine print states, "Alta Mere is not responsible for rear defroster damage. All repairs are the responsibility of the customer, even if the rear defroster has been disrupted or damaged during the tinting process." I cannot believe this was never brought to my attention prior to consenting to have the tinting replaced. What was only supposed to cost me about $30 will now cost me hundreds more. I contacted a Honda dealer to inquire about cost of repair and was told that they will not even touch my car because I had this done at an outside company. They can simply sell me the window, which will run $175-200. Had I known that this was a risk and that my tinting was "old" and could lead to this, I NEVER would have had it repaired. It is a safety hazard to not have a working rear defrost in cold/snowy/icy weather. I can assure you that I will NEVER again use Alta Mere. Their customer service is severely lacking, and obviously they also don`t even bother to clean up after themselves. STAY AWAY!

I dont know who taught these people about customer service, but they must have failed this class countless times!! Not only that, but they let the tinters do the talking to the customers! When I dropped it off I made sure that they knew I wanted only the best film they had. They assured me that they were the best at what they did, but that was only the beginning of the lies! I came back to pick up the car after they... view more were done, and upon walking around the car, not only was it digustingly filthy, but there were bubbles everywhere! I asked why it was so dirty and they told me that was part of window tinting. What a load, but it gets worse! The massive amount of bubbles they assured me would dry out in time. So after 3 weeks in the Texas summer sun, they were still there. I took the car back and asked the people at they counter to look at it and see what they could do, but instead of coming out to see what the problem was, they sent out the window tinters. Instead of offering to fix the problem they were disrespectful and rude, and told me it was as good as it gets so deal with it or take it somewhere eles. So after 20 minutes of trying to get them to either fix it or give me a refund, which they refused to do, I left very angry they had ruined my new car experience! I went down the street to A-Class Window Tint, and told them what I had been told and asked if they could look at the car. The tinter and owner came out and told me that if it had been 3 weeks it should not look like this, and that the bubbles were air and not water. I asked if they could fix it, and the only way was to re-do the tint. They promised I would love the job they did or it was free. Well, when A-Class was done, I couldnt believe right out of the shop how great it was!! I am so happy with the service they gave me, I tell everyone to go there. So if you want a great job, dont go to Alta Mere, but go down the street to A-Class, and get the tint and customer service you deserve!!
