I have been in the customer service industry since the age of 14 when I began working in my Dad`s upholstery business. I greeted and entertained customers while picking up and delivering furniture to the customer`s homes. Throughout the rest of my school years, I continued working in the family businesses. I also started fixing the company vehicles at this age. In 1979 I joined the United States Navy Submarine Force and defended my country for 20 years receiving 5 ribbons and 13 medals to include 5 Navy Achievement medals and 1 Navy Commendation medal for going above and beyond the call of duty. I retired in 1999 and started working in the Auto Repair field and I was approached by the local career school to teach the Auto shop class. After moving to Texas in 2000, I continued my passion for fixing cars. My success led to my wife, Sharon, and I starting our own store in 2007. David`s Automotive Repair is a complete auto care facility that is locally owned and operated by the Nix family. We do all types of automotive repairs. We have a continuous technician education program that enables us to continue our employee training and updating of equipment. We have a 3 year / 36k mile limited warranty. Our waiting area not only has coffee, WiFi and leather chairs but also has a childrens play area. We have a customer shuttle available. We recycle our used oil and antifreeze.

Happy warranty guy

I took my GM truck to Eagle Transmission in Rowlett for a transmission rebuild. Knowing that a rebuilt transmission is not as good or as strong as a brand-new transmission, I bought the extra warranty. About 6 months later I did experience issues again, I took my truck back to Eagle, they reviewed their records, as I could not find my paper work. I was very happy with my service from Eagle Transmission as I had no paper work, faulty parts, and concerns about big repair cost. I will most defiantly use and trust Eagle Transmission again

very disappointed

Beware they will fix your transmission to get you down the road and if your lucky enough to pay extra for a warranty they will fix is again when their first, second attempt fails. I am now taking my transmission elsewhere to get it fixed so it will last. Not to mention they pay for towing to get your business then if it breaks down after they fix it 10,000 miles later, you will have to pay for the tow truck. This ... view moreplace is a rip off.
