HORRIBLE!!! James McNew is a c...

HORRIBLE!!! James McNew is a crook. My wife and I had traded the 2000 Silverado that is now on his website and inventory to James back in March of 2010 and the deal was for a trade for a 2000 Impala. The Impala had some mechanical issues and was to be fixed before we would receive it. So we agreed to a loaner car, which broke down after driving it for the first time! We drove a Nissan Maxima, Infiniti G35, Honda Passport, and the 1995 Lexus that is currently on the website and each of the loaner cars were in even worse condition then the one before it. James put us in the Lexus last and by the time we drove the car from Universal City to the loop of 410 and Fredericksburg the brakes were smoking. And when the tire went flat and I needed to get my severally sick son to a doctors appointment James McNew REFUSED to come fix the problem on the FOURTH loaner car that he had given us, oh and by this time it was already MAY, and remember the deal had began in March? That`s because he did finish the Impala however I didn`t think it would be possible for a dealer to take a car and "fix it up" and get it back in even worse shape then it was before. The day after we got the Impala home and while driving my son to a doctors appointment the STEERING WHEEL began SMOKING!! Yes when I notified Mr. McNew of this issue he just shrugged it off like it was nothing and gave us the Lexus as a loaner car while he "fixed" the Impala. We then started legal actions against Mr. Mcnew, oh and in case anyone is trying to sue this man don`t sue HIM sue James McNew Enterprises Incorporated. When we did finally get the Impala in it`s "finished" condition which we had to settle with Mr. McNew out of court for, it was in even WORSE shape then it started, now the headlights don`t work unless you HOLD the brights on, yes you have to HOLD the brights on, you can`t have the radio and rear defrost on at the same time, the drivers side door does not close properly, the transmission skips and jerks (this was the ONLY problem with the car in the beginning), there was a slit in the tire, dents and scratches that weren`t there before, the trunk does not stay up by its self, the ENTIRE electrical wiring on the car is ruined, and we can`t even change the AIR FILTER with out the check engine light coming on and staying on. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP EVER!!!!! ANY GOOD REVIEW IS A SCAM TRUST ME I`VE BEEN THROUGH THE WRINGER WITH THE OWNER ALREADY YOU DON`T HAVE TO DO IT TO YOUR SELF OR FAMILY!!!!!!

WORST DEALER ON EARTH!

Bought a car from this place a year ago, and it was just problems from the get go! The owner, Jim, is the worst sales person ever and the lady that handles all the payments and such, Beth, has the worst attitude on earth!! She`s just the definition of a ""female hound"". DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My sister bought a car from this place and in 2 days the car broke. We brought the car back to JIM and he told her that he isn`t responsible for anything and she needed to pay for the repairs. I also saw him pouring something into the engine of another vehicle and made the comment that the car was going to an auction and he is only trying to get it to work until it... view more sells, after that it wasn`t his problem. I should of dragged my sister out of that place after that but she wanted that car. I AM WARNING ALL OF YOU, DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!! I gave JIM an ear full and threatened reporting his business to the BBB and he ended up cancelling the sale and gave my sister back her money.

out to get your money

i still cannot believe what happened to me, the way i was treated by JIM MCNEW is so wronge that i cant put it in words. my ex purchased a vehicle from him in may of 2010 in which the transmission went out a few weeks after. the cost of the repairs was added into his loan. he was in default of his payments and was sent to collections. they only started looking for him because he made no attempt to pay for the repair... view mores either. i was looking for an SUV in july and while driving by i noticed a few on their lot. i stopped in a found a great tahoe. the secratery noticed me since i picked up the plates for my ex`s truck and i told her that we were not together and i do not want to be associated with his account. i made my first payment 7 days late in which they were aware that it was going to be late the day i bought the truck. i told them the second payment was going to be made about the same time as the first since i had to wait for my check. JIM called me wanting information on my ex`s truck and i told him what i knew, which wasn`t good enough for him, he wanted me to bring that truck in. after 2 days late on my 2nd payment he had it repoed in which i had to pay alomst $1000 to get it back and i only owed 1800 on it. what makes it worse, i was taking him the payment when i got out of school that day AND as i said he sent my ex`s truck to collections, not repo!i took my complaint to the consumer credit commissioner in which JIMS statment was full of lies. the only thing correct was my name!! on top of all that my starter went out the same day in which i had to pay for, i was offered no warrantee AND he was holding my plates ""ransome"" for a truck that i had no leagal obligation to. i was taken advatage of hence the name ADVATAGE AUTO SALES. if you are reading this and have been done wronge by this company please contact me. i do not plan to stop here..i am taking this as far as i can. all i want is the money i paid in repo fees back and for ALL the wronge he has done made right. my e-mail is sxyslt21@yahoo. want a great car from a salesman who wont scam you? go to damm cars on austin highway, and ask for michael. tell him laura sent you! p.s. i know for a fact that they keep all the titles in their office, they showed mine to me the day i signed papers for it. i only gave them a rating because i had to they are worth about -5 stars

GO ONLY IF YOU WANT 2000 EXCUSES WHY YOU CANT GET YOUR TITLE

I bought a vehicle from this lot and after paying for it was told that my title would be mailed in 10 days since I paid with a check.After several weeks I called because I have not got it. said it was on the way. a week later called back and said it was there. tried to go pick it up 7 times and got excuses why I could not get it everytime. filed with bureau and now there saying they had to wait for the title from th... view moree finance co, well there was not a finance co, it was in house financing.
