I visited the Euless Jiffy Lube this past weekend and it will be the last time I ever step foot in a Jiffy Lube. I had purchased a Groupon for an oil change so when I arrived I handed over the keys, mentioned I had a Groupon and that I simply wanted an oil change. I was approached while in the waiting room and was asked ?ˆ?So you use synthetic oil, right??ˆ? and I responded that I did not know. I was then talked into pur... view morechasing a cabin filter. Alright, fine, I understand that it needed to be changed. However, when it came time to check out my bill was just under $100 dollars. The guy that asked about my oil NEVER mentioned that he was going with the synthetic oil and never told me that the synthetic oil was going to be twice as expensive. When I asked the guy checking me out (Miguel) to go over the invoice he would only repeat ?ˆ?well, that?ˆ™s how much the oil change costs?ˆ?. It wasn?ˆ™t until I got home and looked over the bill and over the Groupon that I saw I had been duped into a much more expensive oil change than what the Groupon covered. And I also saw that all of these ?ˆ?extra perks?ˆ? of a signature oil change were not completed. My windows weren?ˆ™t wiped down and my carpet wasn?ˆ™t vacuumed. I am completely disgusted by my experience and am saddened by the fact that these ?ˆ?men?ˆ? feel comfortable taking advantage of a woman?ˆ™s naivet?© when it comes to automobiles.
