I researched window tint businesses in Nashville until I decided Performance Films had the best quality materials. At first when I got my car back I was very happy, it looks great and the film does help to block heat. However, this weekend when I was vacuuming the car and found an empty spray bottle (because it was in my rear floor board and had leaked out) they left. They got black adhesive or something all over the... view more rear window area, now it has adhered and stained my creme interior black. Jay, I guess the owner said he would have no problem taking out the rear window stop light to tint around it saying, "I`ve been tinting these cars since they were new, your light snaps right out" Now I find out that he broke the light casing and it won`t stay on. I WOULD NOT recommend this business.

When I bought my new car, I asked the dealer and everyone I knew where do I get my car windows tinted? I got a few names. Every person that showed me their car was dissapointed in the outcome of the window tint. So when I finally found Performance Films I was cautious. Their website is great, with lots of info. Best window tint job ever, on any car I have had or seen. The price was right where I expected it to be and very competitive. This is the place to go. 11/11/11-It has been several months since I had my windows done. THEY ARE STILL EXCELLENT. I am very happy with how they look and the extent they cut the heat. My car looks great and I am happy to tell people where I got them tinted.

This is the place to go!!!

I had just bought a new car that did not have tinted windows as I was used to. I called several places after searching on the internet and found Performance Films of TN to be the most helpful in answering my questions.

I called on a Friday and we scheduled my appointment for a week later on Saturday due to my work schedule. At the time, I let them know that I was very excited to get my car done and if they ha... view mored any cancellations for the following morning I would love to be notified so I could bring my car in. I was contacted that afternoon and Jay said that if I was willing to drop off my car early the next morning, they would work on it ""between jobs"" and have it done by 2pm.

I dropped off my car at 8:45am the next morning and Jay took time to go over the various options and answer additional questions. I left to go to breakfast and couldn""t believe it when my phone rang at 10:34 am saying it was completed.

My car looks fabulous and I am very pleased with the workmanship. I have looked very closely at all the windows and have not found any flaws in their work. Several people have said that it looks like my car has ""factory-tinted"" glass.

Overall, I could not have been more pleased with Performance Films of TN, they are extremely nice and professional to work with and the quality of there work is 2nd to none. I highly recommend this company!

A great experience

Before finding Performance Films, I was using Citysearch to look for auto window tint shops without much luck. I had already tried to go to a different place that keeps popping up on Citysearch (K1 Auto Glass) but couldn`t find the place, even with 2 cars with GPS looking for it. After all of that, a friend said she got her car tinted at Performance Films. I called them up and they were friendly and had an opening right away, so I took my car there. When I got inside I was warmly greeted. They told me about their different kinds of tint and helped me choose which one I wanted. There was no pressure or upsell -- they asked me what my needs were and let me choose the one I wanted within my budget. I dropped the car off and they called me a couple of hours later letting me know my car was done. The workers took care to look the car over outside to make sure everything was applied properly and that there were no defects. I was so pleased with the experience that I brought my wife`s car back the next week. As mentioned in the cons, their films are a bit pricey, but I believe that they`re very high quality films. You can Google the types of films they have and will read a lot of reviews saying they`re great films that won`t fade, etc. They even come with a lifetime manufacturer`s warranty. Overall I was extremely pleased with the experience. The workers were very professional and I believe I got a great product for the price. I highly recommend this shop for auto tint.
