My mother who is 76 years old went there. She wasn`t sure if she needed an oil change. One of the employees checked her oil told her that the oil look clean and was full, checked out all of her other fluids and tires and put a sticker in her car to let her know when to come back. They didn`t charge her anything. She was so impressed she told me about it and I just wanted to give you a big THANK YOU.

I watched one worker try to re...

I watched one worker try to remove the old oil filter by turning the filter wrench in a CLOCKWISE direction! I had to tell him to try turning it the other way. The worker in the pit did not replace the gasket on the oil drain plug, which allowed oil to drip onto the garage floor until the next change. I had to add about a half quart of oil over the subsequent 5,000 miles. Wonderful, honest people. Wen...

Wonderful, honest people. Went in for an oil change and they noticed and showed me that I had steel coming from the inside of my right front tire. They offered to put the spare on at no charge for safety. Ended up buying a new tire there and they got it on and me out in about 20 minutes. I would have never have noticed the inside of my tire. Will be going back to let them check my alignment.

Great Place

They are the best in the area. I took my car in for an alignment. Instead of doing the alignment as I asked they first asked me if I was having any problems with the car. I explained what it was doing, the car was shaking. The manager drove my car and then just balanced my tires. It cost less than an the alignment I originally wanted and fixed my problem. If he did not take the time to talk to me and drive my c... view morear I would have work done I did not need and spent more money.

Fixed my Problem for $30

My 1999, Ford Taurus was riding really rough. They put it on a machine and told me I had a ""misfire"". Checking it out further they told one of my spark plugs was bad. They replaced it, test drove it and only charged me $30 and the car is running great. Thank you for not taking advantage of me.

Finally, a mechanic who can fix my car.

I took my car to 2 other shops in town and neither one of them was able to tell me why it was running bad. I took it to Checker Lube and it turned out that I had a bad coil. They had me back on the road in less than an hour. Their prices are great and the best mechanics in town.

Great service

I was recommended to go to Checker Lube by a friend of mine when my car was running bad. The manager had the problem diagnosed and gave me a price to fix it. When he was done the price was lower then quoted because he found the part somewhere else cheaper. That was about 5 years ago and I have gone there ever since. I would recommend them.

Always Been Good To Me

I come back to Checker Lube for my services. I was taking a trip to Jeckyl Island and they noticed a nail in my tire and were able to fix it right away. Been going there for 8 years and always found them to be friendly and knowledgeable.

I have never been treated this badly

They destroyed their roll up door driving my van out of the oil changing bay. My truck was covered in glass and my ladder holder on top of the truck was bent. I went to talk to the manager about the glass that was everywhere, and the fact that they put the wrong oil in my truck. I was treated like it was my fault, they were rude and obnoxious. I will tell everyone that I know how I was treated, and the terrible service I received.
