I told these people my car was spark knocking from the start. That was the reason I brought my car to them. They told me that my car had been driven twice and said they did`nt hear any noise when it was driven. So I told the guy that works there I will drive the car and show him what I was hearing. When he got in the car he told me that " whatever the noise was it wasn`t a spark rattle and I cant work on it.&q... view moreuot; So know I`m thinking that the they really don`t care for working on my car because it more than a spark rattle. I had to tell him about the suspension problems out of my on mouth before he ever acknowledged the problem. I wouldn`t recommend this company to anybody because they really don`t care for working on cars if a man brings the car. But if a women pulls up they will act like they will take care of the problem ASAP. Lol they need to take the import out of there name if u ask me!

Unhappy Customer

We had a very poor experience with this establishment, and even though they are conveniently located (less than a mile from my home, I will never seek out their services again. We paid to have a replacement engine put in a vehicle. They offered a 90 day warranty; but when the engine failed within the 90 days, the owner at first claimed that the warranty had expired. When we produced the paperwork to prove that it ... view morehadn`t, he then claimed that the failed engine was caused by a lack of oil... and therefore the warranty would not be honored. After further debate and discussion, the owner adjusted his story further and informed us that the `warranty` wasn`t actually offered by him, but rather by his `vendor`. We went to the vendor, who indicated that they don`t guarantee their placement engines....this despite the fact that Dr. Motorworx had given us the warranty in writing at the time of the original transaction...initialed by the owner himself, no less. On top of that, Dr. Motorworx then invoiced us over $100 for the diagnosis of the engine failure, and when we balked at paying, the owner threatened to throw a mechanic`s lien on the vehicle if we didn`t pay....He did offer to have us sign over the title to the car and call things even, but we declined. We paid the invoice and went to pick up the vehicle after work; and noticed immediately that the stereo (worth over $300) had been taken apart and partially uninstalled....The owner was nice enough to give us back our property the following day when we went back to ask for it. Long story short, while the fella who did the actual engine work for us was polite and competent, the owner of this establishment is, in our opinion, arrogant and dishonest, and appears to value a quick buck over providing customer service. For these reasons, we strongly recommend that you steer clear of Dr. Motorworx.
