Took my car here after taking it to SEVERAL other shops who could not figure out what was wrong with it. I had spent $100s with these other guys, and getting no where. Not only did Robinsons figure out my issue in no time, but they diagnosed it for FREE!!!! My issue was in my front end, and they fixed it right up, and now my car is driving perfect again. These guys are hands down the best repair shop to use. Everyone else wanted to charge me $2000, and they determined that $110 flush and fill would do the trick. I had been having some problems with my transmission. After researching the problem online and having the car evaluated by my mechanic, I decided to get a second opinion. I ended up taking it to two other shops, only to have them say the same thing as my ... view moremechanic, "Your transmission is failing, and will need to be rebuilt or replaced." Every estimate was around $2000. In an effort to save some money, I started calling around to see who could give me a better price. I called Robinson Roadside to get a quote when David asked me to explain what my car was doing and why I thought I needed a new transmission. I explained the problem, and what everyone else had diagnosed the problem to be. He then asked me if I had ever had the transmission serviced. I mentioned that my mechanic had flushed and filled the trans back in 06/10. He mentioned that Hondas require specific fluids for certain parts, and if my mechanic had used the wrong fluid it could cause similar problems. He made sure he could get the right fluid, and called me back with a quote on removing the wrong fluid and replacing it with the right fluid. He informed me that there was no way to guarantee that it would solve the problem, but it was likely to allow me to keep driving it while I figured out how to pay for the trans work. I brought my car into the shop that afternoon, and as soon as the trans fluid started to drain we could both tell the fluid didn`t look right. After he finished, I asked him if he would take a look at the rest of the car to see if there was anything else that might need some work. I mentioned that my mechanic had told me that I needed my timing belt and water pump replaced, as well as some motor mounts. He confirmed that the mounts were bad, and the timing belt would need to be replaced soon. The quote he gave me for all of the work was less than my mechanic quoted for just the timing belt and water pump. On top of saving me $2000, he called the next day to find out how the car was running. I told him it drove better as soon as I left the shop, but did have a little trouble when I first started it the following day. He let me know that it might take a day or two to get the right fluid into the trans, and to let him know if it didn`t improve in a few days. The next day my trans worked perfectly. I was so pleased that I returned to have my headlights cleaned. David did an amazing job, and now they look brand new. Robinson Roadside will always have my business. Not only have I found an honest, knowledgeable mechanic, but they also provide a mobile service. What a brilliant idea!!!
