Don`t take your CAR PLEASE!!!!!!!
My husband, and I took our Dodge Durango 2003 (It was in excellent condition! ) to Tire Kindom of Harbison. for an "OIL" change. Most times my husband would take it, but this time I said I would go since his schedule was long for that day. I am not one to sit inside ....I like to watch the procedure, since I was a little tom-boy growing up. I could not go into the area where the young man was, so I stoo... view mored in the open parking lot area. My husband had bought $500.00 Goodyear tires from Tire Kindom for me for mother`s day just the previous year. As a result the manager gave him a "Year`s worth of free oil changes" WoW...you would have thought we won the lottery. He took the truck into them as often as they suggested...and what ever they thought we needed we would do....(flush, filter ect...) But this one time I took my truck.....the young man did not seem to know what to do...I had to ask him questions about my truck...like did I need a flush...or how many quarts did you put in?? and so on...I saw that he was at the point where he needed to put the oil filter on (a new one). And he tried to dip it in the excess oil that came out of my truck that was on top of the drainage pan....he looked like he didn`t get any on the rim...so he tried dipping again....still nothing....so I saw him dip his finger...and just rubbed the top rim....I was on the phone with my mom and I told her ......this young man looks really confused. he proceeded with his job. and then I was to go inside and pay. So I did, even though we had free coupons...I didn`t have it with me today...so I will pay. NOW MIND YOU, WHEN I TOOK MY TRUCK TO TIRE KINDOM I DID NOT HAVE "ANY LIGHTS ON IN THE DASH" AND I MEAN NONE....everything was good...no check engine, no ABS light NOTHING was on!!! I took my truck to a well know gas station....just about finished filling it up with some petro. (gas) and went straight home. Everything seemed ok...but I only live just a few short miles from the tire kindom, so if anything was going to happen I didn`t drive long enough. WELL, I got home .....told me son he could drive mommy`s car to his college classes today...now this was about 20 mins away one trip. He got to school just fine. But when he started that truck to come home he said all of a sudden....the check oil light came on...and then the check engine light came on .....KEEEP IN MIND.....NOTHING LIKE THIS HAS "EVER" HAPPENED BEFORE!!!!!!! MY SON SAID OUR TRUCK STARTED TO SHAKE LIKE CRAZY...AND HE WAS SCRARED TO DEATH....HE JUST GOT HOME.....BEFORE IT SOUNDED LIKE THE TRUCK WAS ABOUT TO FALL APART IN MY DRIVE WAY. I OPENED THE HOOD TO CHECK THE OIL AND GUESS WHAT......I FIND THE YOUNG MAN`S RAG FROM TIRE KINDOM UNDER THE HOOD NEAR THE BELTS (IN WHICH I STILL HAVE THIS DAY) AND FROM THAT POINT IT HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE....TIRE KINDOM DENIED ANY WRONG DOING....EVEN THE how the tech left his rag under my hood.....the truck never worked again from that day.....tire kindom came and towed the truck back to them.....and the manager stated it was not them...he asked me for the rag...told him I will keep that....and long story short...we had a truck that tire kindow state it`s our fault, and it was repossesed and who owes the lien holder for a vehicle that does not work....we do...so please don`t take your car to this co....we are now filing a law suit against this co. for all damages.!!! AND GET THIS FOLKS...THE OIL CHANGE AND ALL OF THIS WAS "ALL ON THE SAME DAY!!!!"
