DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO CHARLESTON COLLISION!!! Simply put, these are the most dishonest people I have ever dealt with! Took nearly 3 months to `repair` my vehicle and, when I finally received it, it was anything but `repaired.` Not only did they do a horrible job fixing the car, they managed to damage it in the process. Fan shroud broken and hanging, components improperly installed, used headlight assembly (whi... view morech they tried to pass of as new) was full of water, the interior of the car was dirty, mud-guard beneath the front spoiler was hanging, and many other issues. Had to have another body shop review the repairs and correct them. THE SINGLE WORST PLACE YOU COULD EVER, EVER, POSSIBLY TAKE YOUR VEHICLE!!!!!!!!! Not only did they lie to me, but when I was force to call my insurance company because I hadn`t seen my car in 3 months, they lied on a 3 way conversation directly to myself and the insurance company. I have a 2008 Audi that experienced some hail damage in my home town (not Charleston), and while the local body shops in my area were inundated with repairs, I thought I would get my car repaired in Charleston since I had to be there for business for a couple weeks anyway. Two months before I came to Charleston, I contacted Charleston Collision on Redbank Rd. and asked them if they were capable of repairing my car. I... view more sent around 20 photos of the hail damage and a quote from a local body shop via email to the gentleman I spoke with and he assured me that they could fix my car during the time I was going to be in town. I even called two more times prior to my trip to make sure things were in order. Three days after I dropped off my car, I received a phone call from the gentleman telling me that their Paintless Dent Repair specialist decided that he could not, in fact, repair my car as he previously thought. I spent $150 for a rental car for three days wasted and had to find a different shop to fix the car. I am disappointed that I put so much faith in Charleston Collision, only to have my time and money wasted. The staff was very friendly, just not technically competent.
