If I could, I wouldn`t even gi...

If I could, I wouldn`t even give this place one star. We paid $585 for a fuel pump that was never installed. Our truck stopped working randomly one night so we took it to Mac`s the next day. Upon "inspection" they informed us that the fuel pump needed to be replaced. So two days and $585 later, we went back to pick up the truck. Less than twenty four hours later, the truck stopped working with the same ... view moreproblem. We had the truck towed to the nearest mechanic (the Chevy dealership form which they had said that they ordered the new fuel pump from) who, after just looking over the truck and consulting three different head mechanics as well, informed us that in their opinion, the fuel pump had not been replaced and suggested we not take the truck back there. We went back to Mac`s and spoke with the manager and explained the situation and asked for our money back or to either re-install the original fuel pump that was replaced while we watched. She refused us both our requests and after about thirty mins of civil discussion she suddenly and unexpectedly began to have a "freak out" moment which consisted of her yelling and screaming and pulling at her hair. To me, coming from a family of psychologists and also having a degree in linguistics and psychology, this was all the indication that we needed that something wasn`t right about this situation. After authorizing the Chevy dealership to proceed with the repair, we discovered that the fuel pump had not been replaced at all and definitely not with one that was order from the dealership and that the problem was in fact a loose wire, a fix that would cost $15. Good, trustworthy mechanics are hard to find and these guys definitely proved why. They are the most unprofessional business I have ever come across and run by nothing but crooks. Stay away if you value your vehicle and your money!
