Don`t finish in a timely manner.

Here we are in 2010 and I have some of the same complaints as ttoothfary from back in 2008. We were told the job would be done in 1 hour...2 full days later and I`m still waiting. Every time we call there is some excuse as to why we were bumped to the bottom of the list. We had an appt when we took it in to finish up a job they started 1 month ago. The job was paid for when we first picked it up, so I`m pretty sure ... view morethat why they lack the incentive to finish what they started. Today when I call I just keep getting an answering machine, no return call to my messages. The machine doesn`t even mention the business name - how professional. Whenever we leave the car with them it comes back stinking of cigarettes and we don`t smoke. This is the last time I get jerked around by them. Like I have all day to sit by the phone waiting for them to call since they cannot accurately offer a timeline and complete a job in that timeline. @ladyricochet - Glad you could complain about the person providing the review. The whole point of sites like this is to document your experience to save others the same headaches. Maybe if this company could provide a little more professional service they could have pages and pages of multi-star reviews, instead of 2 1-star. That`s not negativity it consumers helping consumers.

Items left in vehicle may be dissappear and vehicle will come back smelling of smoke

Had car starter installed. Dropped it off at 6am. Was told that I would receive a call when it was finished in a few hours. Waited till 2pm and called them to see if it was ready. I was told ""almost"" and that they would call me when it was done. I Waited again till 6pm. still nothing so I called and was told "" it`s been finished for a while now did`nt someone call you?"" I figured fine whatever, at least it was ... view morefinished I thought. Well the next day I went looking for my ipod nano which I keep in the glove department and it was nowhere to be found. I know I should have known better to leave it there, but thats what happens when you think for one second that you can trust people. Also they leave the garage doors open all day with vehicles wide open and people come and go through there all day long. They also smoke constantly, so your vehicle will come back smelling like a cigarrette factory. I don`t usually write reviews, but I wish I knew then what I know now because I would saved myself time, agravation, a nano ipod, and from having a smelly car.
