We guarantee a job done right and will guarantee for as long as you own your vehicle. Please keep in mind this is not a cut-rate job like you see advertised elsewhere. Exquisite does a quality job with PPG basecoat clear coat. We take necessary parts off and disassemble to do the job right. We do proper scuffing for door handles, bumpers, headlights, moldings, mirrors, taillights, etc. They are removed to insure that it`s scuffed properly. We do not mask off to save time. Treated us better than the vultures
We dealt with Billy Strick Jr, the son in this father-son business. Before going to Strick Family Auto, we were driving around dealing with outrageous, shady, highly insincere car lot employees out for a commission, so we could tell within a few minutes that there was something different going on at this lot.

No high pressure and Strick Jr was genuinely likeable to chat about cars with.

He pulled out... view more the folder of all the work they`d had their mechanic do on the car we were interested in to reassure me that there were no major problems, and he heavily recommended taking it to have an independent diagnostic done in the first few days after getting the car. Lastly, he went out of his way to point us to an outside credit union that would finance our loan for less than half of the interest rate he could have given us on the lot.

We did go have a diagnostic run by a dealership. They said among other things that it had to have a new head gasket soon which was something I had specifically asked Strick Jr if that had been checked for. He had told me initially that when they found evidence of that kind of problem in a car, they didnt even try to sell them to the public. So, I was surprised that despite these assurances, the car was still found to have the head gasket problem.

We called Strick family auto and told them about the head gasket diagnosis. Because it was otherwise a nice car, we asked if they would reduce the price for us since the head gasket alone would be around $1700 extra. He said he was sorry but they could only come down $100 more, but that we could return the car and they would rip up the paperwork if we did not want to buy it now.

We wound up keeping the car for $100 less than originally agreed on, and with the lower rate loan that Strick Jr had advised us we qualified for.

I liked these guys and felt like we got a nice car and nice treatment. However, I wouldnt believe 110% that their mechanic knows how to diagnose potential engine problems so a pre-purchase diagnostic would be a really good idea. Luckily, the Strick family seem to go out of their way to negotiate which made up for our feelings of disappointment about having to pay for a new head gasket on a car we`d just bought.

They sold us a car that wasnt as problem free as we originally were led to believe, but they did let us drive it off the lot with the understanding that we could bring it back and expect a complete refund if the car or the loan process made us change our minds about their car.

Compared to the maneuvers and evasions on other lots, these guys seemed pretty fair, and on the whole, the process was easier than it would have been somewhere else.

Excellent Experience
The most pleasant car buying experience I have ever had. Bob Jr. was great. He left me and my friend alone to look and talk. He answered all my questions. I asked to test drive and was handed the key. He had the carfax and blue book ready for my review. I got an excellent deal, and I am very pleased with my purchase. If you are looking for a used vehicle, that`s the place to go. .
