I will admit that I read these reviews with a grain of salt, and the only true measure of their service is through our own personal experience. This said, my own times with Repair Right Auto dictate that I should share. The first time I went there, it was just down the block from my house, and the owner was kind, courteous, helpful, even lent me jumper cables and told me exactly how to jump my car when my battery... view more wore out. So I took my car there for an oil change, which was $30-40, but I didn`t mind since he was so helpful and convinced me that my problem wasn`t my battery in a competent and professional manner. Six months later, my battery was having issues again, but I figured it was for the same reason as before (non consistent driving...I would wait a few days sometimes between driving and it would drain. I was told this is normal and I just need to drive more often). So I decided to take my car back there for an oil filter yet again and to have my battery and tires checked, as I also had a warning light pop up for my tire and couldnt find the problem. Expecting the same service, I was the first customer of the day and gave them my car at 8 AM. I waited at my house expecting to pick my car up within 2-3 hours, however, I did not receive a call from them until 4 PM. When I got my car back, my warning light for my tire was still blinking, but I was told that my battery, which I told them I just jumped the previous day, was fine. I was charged $40 for an oil filter change. LESS THAN A MONTH later, I was jumping my battery on a weekly basis yet again, so, this time I took my car to my dealership, who told me that my battery has a failing cell, and it being 3.5 years off the factory floor, it was expected. They actually showed me numbers from their tests, and proceeded to also show me the nail that was lodged in the inside side of my rear tire that repair right didn`t even bother to look for. This means that in the two times I took my car to them, one of them being an 8 hour OIL CHANGE they were unable to find what my dealership took two hours to find and fix (And that time included tire changes, rotations, and a complimentary car wash). I hope my experiences help another make an informed decision regarding bringing their vehicle to this shop.

I can`t say a single bad thing about any work these guys have done on any of my cars in 25 years.

Be warned - Kevin is distrustful and disrepectful. I went to Repair Right requesting an evaluation of my brakes and alignment and asked that they call me with a quote. In the late afternoon Kevin told me my car was ""done"" and that I could pick it up. Upon getting to the shop he handed me a $500 bill for a brake job which I would later learn I didn`t even need. Les Schwab and another independent garage both tol... view mored me that the condition of the parts he took off my truck were ""like new"" and that whoever did this work was a ""ripping me off""
When I confronted Kevin about what was essentially a miscommunication between himself and another employee - he refused to accept any professional responsibilty for the confusion, tried to blame me and refused to consider discounting the work. When I returned the following day to attempt to reconcile, Kevin was irrate, threatnening and personally insulting in front of other customers.
I cannot reccomend going to Repair Right under any circumstances.

This review is based on events strung out over a years time..MY truck was not starting so i called AAA to have it towed to a firestone down the road...the tow truck driver told me if i want to have older well Qualified mechanics look at my truck to go to repair Right .worst decision i have made in a long time..they swapped a starter in that worked for a couple months and i returned to them with the same problem...the... view morey proceeded to swap the starter again and sent me on my way...i spent time trying to tell these guys it was something else causing the starter to break down...they mentioned multiple things that could be wrong...but the had no real idea..they decided to replace parts and hope the got it right..which cost me over 1000 dollars..they assured me my truck started succesfully 50 times b4 they gave it to me ""Fixed""...and ""On them"" if it fails.i had to come back a 3rd time because i heard grinding again when i tried to start my truck...ALl i wanted was to turn my key and have the truck start everytime...AND IT STILL IS BROKEN...then they told me to come get my truck and hung up on me! i used no foul language or raised my voice. now the want more money from me to look into what else can be causing the problem...THESE PEOPLE ARE TOTAL HILLBILLIES AND UNEDUCATED AND OUT OF DATE/OLD PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO >>>DO NOT BRING THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY TO REPAIR ANYTHING!!!!!!!

I actually live in Hillsboro so going to SE Portland can be a bit of a trek to get my car fixed but let me tell you it is WORTH the drive for me. These men are very nice people and there is a woman who works at the desk. I like that for some reason. She is really sweet. They totally explain what they`ve done to your car and why. I was there last wednesday picking up my car and they were rescuing a tiny kitten from ... view moreunder the hood of a truck that has just come in to the shop. Those guys did a great job and took care of the kitten like it was a baby. really cute. Thank you for everything!

I went here to get an estimate on brakes. They tried to convince me that I needed something that no one else did. Then, when trying (Reasonably and politely) to get information about their estimate, the owner yelled at me and hung up the phone. Also, trying to get a straight answer out of them is impossible! They want to tell you how great they are because they have been in the same location for however many year... view mores - I don`t care how long you have been there if you are rude! Also, the waiting area is disgusting and they puff their nasty cigarette smoke right in your face. Gross!

They did a great job fixing the clutch on my subaru, when i dropped it off, they personally gave me a ride down the street because it was raining, and when i picked my car up, they brought me back into the shop and showed me what they fixed and why for every piece of service, and explained a lot to me. These guys are amazing

This was the first time I used an aftermarket auto body shop to repair my 03 300m special they had my car apart and back together before I knew it was damaged, great staff willing to help and they even cleaned and washed my entire car before I had the chance to pick it up. Look 10 times better then when I braught it in. Kevin and Richard were the best.
