Disappointed

Took my 1975 Gremlin to this guy. Alternater light was staying on. He charge me $105 to fix wiring problem. First he said it was a coroded wire. It fixed it temporarily, then came back on. I took it back to him. Asked what problem was, he then said it was an "open circuit" and not short. Open circuit means he charged me $105 to plug a loose wire back in. He would not show me where it was...wouldn`t ... view moreevent tell me if it was under hood or dash. Then said it might be alternator. I told him it was always starting. He said he`s not sure, only 80% sure replacing alternator will fix it. Bottom line is light is still on...I`m out of $105 for NOTHING! And they way he kept changing the story and not willing to show me what I paid $105 for makes me think...Auto Quack...stay away from this liar.
