Terrible Experience

I had a rebuilt transmission put in my car 11 months ago. I took it back and was told the radiator broke and that the transmission was not salvageable. According to John, I needed a new transmission. This was a complete lie. When I went to get my car, John wouldn`t even face me and refused to give me a receipt with his diagnosis until I refused to leave without getting one. You are better off paying a little bit more but having the shop stand behind their work and deal with people in a professional manner.

True Professionals in the Transmission Business

WOW!!! This place is it for professional repair on your transmission. I called seveal other places, and Trans By Bruce offered free towing, ( which I didnt need, my truck was still roadworthy) Dropped the truck off, got a call stating Exactly what was wrong, and how far gone it was, After explaining what was needed, they asked several other questions about my truck and future plans with it, The repair recommendation ... view morewas made and an estimate was given. Saved Me!!!

I have a 2004 Escape, had many codes that popped up, kept it from passing emissions, all my other shops wanted too much money. They diagnosed it, found the one problem, fixed it in a timely manner, didn`t overcharge me labor or parts, and it runs like a champ. Excellent techs, excellent service, better than any shop I`ve been to. A+.

Really Nice Guys and Very Helpful

Our daughter`s transmission was slipping and when the transmission light came on we had her take it to Bruce`s. They were extremely helpful and stayed true to the quote we had been given. The job was completed on time and I would definitely recommend going there. Thanks Bruce!

good people, just bad luck, my car still not right

UPDATE a week after my car was done a sensor for the tranny went out, they did fix it for FREE, which was good seeing how his quote was 300.00 higher then any quote i got for a complete rebuild from his competitors, now my tanny is leaking tranny fluid, and im going to have to take it back again, hopefully its something simple, ill update again once my car gets looked at for the leaks. When you need work done on your car, and need it done fast!

A friend of the family recommended Transmissions By Bruce to me. I haven`t had the time or money to take care of my car, and there were multiple problems from bad front bearings to brakes that were worn down to nothing. They were able to fix all the problems I had with my Ford Taurus in one laborious day. It hasn`t run this good since it was first purchased.

BEST TRANNY SEVICE IN MY AREA,!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got stuck in the snow,,On my way to work,,,,Trying to rock the car back & forth out of drift, between reverse & drive,,,,,,,,
I guess You know what happened,,,I called several tranny shops,,,,,,Most wont even tow,or charge too much for just a tow to bring them more business?????
Finally I called Bruces,,,,,,,Not only did they arrange a tow for me at NO extra charge,,,,,,,BUT ,,,went out of their way and had ... view moreone of the office staff drive me to my office so I could make it to work myself that day,,,,,,,,
2 days later it was DONE,,,,,,,and lets just say,it co$t me less than other shops were quoting

DONT even bother....unless you like wasting money

These guys are very bad and im sorry i went there. They gave me a price to get me in and added another $700 to what i was quoted..the did a poor job.......my car had was leaking trans fluid since i picked it up the lines were all rusty and they did not even tell me or give me a quote to fix it...they gave me a crummy 6,000 mile warranty...insist on cash...and they are big liars...i really dont think they have a clue.... view more..

Great Job

These guys saved me money and returned my car quickly when I needed it. He was very helpful and towed me in for free! My car runs like a dream now.
