I recently looked at the 2011 Camaro 2SS with an MSRP of $38K. I also checked the USAA new car services for the the best price, it gave me $34K for the 2012 Camaro 2SS. Anyway, talked with the dealer and the best that the ""store manager"" would do was $37,900. This price was the so called employee discount and included $750 cash back for being a USAA member. Not only that, but the salesman lied when I asked if the C... view moreamaro would be changed for 2012. His response was no. I checked online, the Camaro will have the Transformers Edition, the ZL1, and the 45th anniversary edition all for 2012 as well as the other updates across the board the 2012s. Another thing that annoyed me was that they tried to get me to sign some sort of contract basically binding me into purchasing this car for around $36K. I refused to sign and I ended up leaving with a bad taste in my mouth behind that. What`s even worse, these young Marines will continue to pay sticker price or higher for these cars. Don`t even waist your time in Jacksonville, NC if you`re car shopping!
