Dudley was awesome. The young lady with him fixed the plates and was also very helpful. Awesome job everyone!

A fabulous buying experience with exceptional follow-up would not hesitate to recommend Sunrise - Sunrise treated me as well as I have been treated by a top Audi dealer I have been doing business with for over 15 years - in some ways even better and more personalized - JD, Bill, Stu - all top draw

Great experience all around. Professional on all fronts with great attention to detail on the whole sales process ( from initial inquiry to shutting the drivers door when I was driving off the lot). It was a pleasure and as long as drive a vw I will return to Sunrise VW.

Randy Grene and Stu Coleman were and have been very helpful when and since buying the car. I would recommend working with both to other people.

Dudley was an incredibly knowledgable, and persuasive yet respectful sales rep. Don`t spoil his charm and honesty by turning him into a fast talking numbers pushing sales rep. His style is highly affective and goes along way to selling cars. Trust me...I buy allot of cars :) His honest demeanor makes up for entry level position and lack of experience.

The whole process of buying my Jetta was a pleasure from beginning to end. There was no pressure to buy and after the test drive with Vince Monte we immediately decided to buy the Jetta Sportwagen. Having bought many cars over the years this was the best buying experience we have ever had.

Bad experience: you be the judge
I spoke to a gentleman over the phone (Joe Fusco) regarding a price I found online at trueprice. He seemed to be very professional over the phone, and gave me a very good rate on the vehicle. I mentioned the two colors I was looking for, to which I was told that they had plenty of both in stock. I mentioned that I wanted to see the vehicle because I had tried other dealerships, and they didn`t have them in stock. ... view more Again, I was told that there were plenty of both in stock. I also mentioned that this day was the only day I could look at the vehicle, as the rest of my week is packed, and so I was hoping to purchase the car that day if I liked the color. After work, I rushed to the dealership (about 45 min away) to try to get everything done as quickly as possible. When I arrive, I deal w/ a rep assigned to me by Mr. Fusco. I tell the rep what I`m looking for (the two colors), and that I`d like to see them. He disappears into an office for a while, then finally comes out and tells me that he has only one vehicle on the lot in one of the colors I want. He has another in the other color at their warehouse in Queens. Taken aback, I was a little confused, as I had been told that there were plenty in stock. Either way, I went ahead with the rep and walked around the lot to in the hopes of seeing the vehicle. While walking out there, the rep asks me, ""so if you like this vehicle, when were you looking to purchase?"" I mention that I`ve already done all my homework (besides actually seeing the colors I think I want), and that I was ready to buy that day. Strangely, the rep says something to the effect of, ""yeah right, people tell me that all the time."" I reiterate that I had set aside this day to complete the sale, as I had a very busy stretch ahead of me, and had already done my homework. Ultimately, the car wasn`t there, and I was told that they have it ""in stock"" at their warehouse. When I ask if we can drive over there to see it, I was told that the warehouse is closed and locked up for the night. It seems ""in stock"" doesn`t equate to ""we have it here for you to see"". This technically was true for one or two vehicles (as far as I know), but I made it very clear that I wanted to see the vehicles when I showed up. The rep then tells me I can leave a deposit if I want to see the other colors, and I reiterate that I will not be leaving any money on a car unless I see it first. At this point, the rep disappears for a while, then comes back to tell me the one color (what happened to two?) that he has at the warehouse, and shows me a photocopy of some sticker. He continues a cycle of asking me random questions, telling me to wait and then disappears for a while, only to reappear and not have any worthwhile information. At this point, I realize that it`s now after 7pm, and that other dealerships were closing. On his last cycle, I told him again that I`m not buying anything unless I can see it, and that they clearly weren`t able to help me. At this point, I walked out. In the end, I went to another dealership and bought the car I wanted (that evening). Ultimately, had I been told honestly what the situation was, I would`ve been willing to work with them on finding out a way to view the car. In the end, what feels like a bait-and-switch is ultimately what caused Sunrise to lose my business.
