I`m surprise with some of the reviews. I have taken my cars several times and I will continue going. I had an issue last time that my car was leaking a little bit oil after an oil change. I took it back and they check it right away. Apparently, the problem was they were too careful with the bolt. So they put a little more force and no problem. This is good, I have had issues with car shop in which they stripped the b... view moreolt. They are careful here. The manager or owner, not sure, offered me a free oil because of the trouble. I rejected it since I got my problem solved very quickly. OK, the lady at the front desk could have some training on how to deal with customers, but I dont think she is rude, just lack of people skills.

This is a family business. The old man is the owner and runs around adding charges to customers for no reason and telling his employees what to do when he can`t remember and is to old to be running a business. His pregnant daughter is the first person you see when you go in and is trying to be a receptionist and run things but she is so rude to customers and employees, she is just like the father thinking she knows ... view morewhat is going on but they are clueless. Now let me tell you of the experiences I have had. They recently started to service interlocks on vehicles. I have gone there monthly for about 5 months. I am given an appointment that I get to on time but they service you 2 hours later. I have had hours in the waiting area and have seen both father and daughter add charges to customers for work they did not do, lie, been rude to employees and customers, and today I am writing this review because I had an appointment at 4 and they told me to leave and come back at 530 and told me to leave from the waiting room. They are rude, and when I asked why can`t I just stay like always waiting they told me I do not have to get into it. They run a horrible, unhonest, business and they have no family morals and bring there problems from home to work.

I just wanted to let y`all know about the store in El Paso on 5015 Montana Ave. This is the only auto service I allow my two vehicles to go to. I have been a regular customer for two years and will remain that way. They are friendly, honest, knowledgeable, and professional. I have recommended Chelmont Auto Center to my friends too.

I had a part put on my car a few weeks ago.It took a long time for the part to come in.Which i understood,and knowing how old my car was,I was truly patient.The only problem I had with this company was customer service.I was treated like they really didnt want to work on my car.After,the part was put on.I came in, happy to drive my car off.The extreme strange and rude manager told me.I owe him 20 dollars for putting ... view moregas in my car.I was shooked because he talked to me as if i was some bum off the street.Not as a customer.I would not recommend this repair shop to anyone...
