Had my car, an 01 Jetta TDI towed to Knight`s. My thinking at the time was even if I were to be charged more for the repair I would still be ahead of the game because of the cost of towing to my trusted mechanic`s shop which is 50 miles away. The total cost of the repair was $759.64 for a remanufactured alternator and serpentine belt. Almost double of what I would have paid at my mechanic. The people at Knights` we... view morere professional and the repair was made in timely manner. My comment is not intended to offend the people at Knight?ˆ™s they seem to be fine people and I was impressed with their website. I felt the need to comment solely on the high cost of the repair.
