Buyer Beware
Last year, prior to the Good Friday Tornado, a friend of mine had some wheels in layaway with this store. They were custom wheels ordered to fit his truck. There were major problems.
Of the $4000 purchase price of the wheels, he had paid all but $700. He took his truck in to have the wheels fitted for his truck and the shop claimed the wheels were not there. He returned a week later to find that the wheels... view more the shop had sold him, and assured him would fit on his truck, did not fit on his vehicle. He left and sought the expertise of other local vehicle customizers to find that the wheel size the shop owner had ordered for the vehicle were the wrong size.
My friend, J, was back in tough with the owner/manager of the Hubcap and Wheel Store and advised that based on his research, the wheels were ordered in the wrong size. The shop owner became irate and sent J and his truck away.
A few weeks later the Good Friday tornado struck St. Louis and destroyed the building the Hubcap and Wheel store was located in. At this point the shop had $3300 of J`s money, and J had nothing to show for it.
Since then he has contacted the BBB, filed complaints, attempted to file a claim with the stores insurance policy, etc. and still has not had his money, nor the wheels he purchased (although they didn`t fit) given to him.
J will be taking the store to court in an attempt to recoup some of the fund this business and it`s owners have stolen from him.
For those readers out there, I hope you are cautious in your dealings with these unscrupulous business owners and do not allow them to take your money too.

Great experience!
I`m not sure why there are these bad reviews on here. The place was great, the shop guy I spoke to Patrick was very helpful. Unmounted my bent wheel, they had it fixed in a little over an hour. They were extremely nice, and put up with all my questions. Sure the store doesn`t look that great, but the people are nice, and the work is excellent! Definitely recommend them!

i have NEVER had any problems there. they have always treated me with respect and my wheels look great...

Hey, if you think they treat their CUSTOMERS bad, you should see how they treat their EMPLOYEE`S.
Plus they repair wheels that they should not just to get money, even though it might get some one hurt!

BEWARE!
TERRIBLE-STAY AWAY!!!!! They ordered the wrong wheel and then did want to refund my money- they are thieves! Terrible customer service......and crooks
