I went there to have a pulley and belt on my car replaced. First off, he (Terry-Owner) was late getting it fixed. He said it would be done the same day he got it and it wasn`t. Then he said it would be done the next day at 9 am and 10 am I had to call him to find out what was going on. When he had someone bring me to get my car at the shop I had to wait another 30 minutes for it. I finally got my car at noon and the ... view moremechanic left it in the lot running and just walked off. Didn`t see if I had questions or anything. When I told Terry that I was upset about the whole situation considering I was supposed to be with my mom before she was wheeled into treatment at the hospital he acted like he could care less. The parts that I needed for my car he quoted me a price of 400 bucks and I bought the parts myself for 190 dollars. Oh, and the day after I took it there my car started making the same sound it made before I brought it in and now it makes a rattling noise in the spot where they replaced the parts. Not only am I NEVER going there again but I am going to make sure everyone I know knows about how I was treated.

bad business...simply put
I would like to say kiss my grits to US automotive as a business, owners and the whone crew.These nice people quoted us "under 500 dollars" for a 3 mile tow and front brake job. After speedy service we ended up shelling out 750 dollars. This did NOT include the oil change. Thanks for the screw job TERRY and BECKY at the front desk. Anyone who`s goes here should bring vaseline with them cause your gonna get screwed.

Very Rude
I`m selling a car and the would be buyer requested having the vehicle inspected there. I spoke with a Terry who up front said we Meinke isn`t what I`d call a professional automotive shop. He then called me back to notify me there were items we needed to discuss. I called back later and Terry said rudely, "yeah I`m busy now call back later in a few hours." I called back on my way to work (2 hours) later and ... view morethey didn`t answer. I left a message and asked if they could leave a message at their convenience on my voice mail and got no call. The next day I spoke with Terry again who said, "yeah call back later the power is out" I said, "its regarding the 1998 Honda and terry rudely said "yeah call back later" to top it off the girl buying my car is saying Terry recommends a new transmission. This was only a pre buy inspection and they were rude multiple time, not helpful whatsoever and recommend a repair that`s well over $1000 on a $3000 car that works flawlessly, has been well maintained and shifts perfectly. Don`t go to US Automotive, very unprofessional.

STAY AWAY!!!! I went into US Automotive because my brakes were making intermediate noise. They said my rotors were glazed. But getting to the unreal part. The service manager Clay said my truck needed a 90 thousand mile service. Total price $1119.35. One of the unreal prices was for spark plugs. They wanted $21.27 for each spark plug. I work at an auto parts distributor. I know they need to make a profit but... view more charging almost 5 times over wholesale is stupid. He also said and I quote?ˆ? Cooling system is extremely dirty and needs to be flushed twice requiring extreme measures.?ˆ? I told him that was strange as I had had the system flushed less than two years before. He looked flustered for a moment and then replied that it needed to be done once a year. I don?ˆ™t drive 30000 miles in a year, do you? But for the final kicker, a couple of days after my visit to US Automotive I noticed a smell in my garage. I popped the hood of my truck and found the ?ˆ?technician?ˆ? hadn?ˆ™t replaced the cap on my coolant reservoir. I immediately took my truck to Meineke. They checked the coolant system and SHOWED me the test. Coolant was clean and all the little balls were floating. I also checked my records. My coolant system had been flushed and a new pump was installed less than 18 months before. Meineke checked my coolant, topped it off and got me a new cap. Total charge, $10.00 plus tax. And US Automotive has the gall to call themselves ?ˆ?Women Friendly?ˆ?. RIGHT!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!

Go anywhere but here. I paid $250 for a transmission fluid service I was told immediately afterward by a TRUSTWORTHY mechanic was not even done. They also charge about 3 times as much as other equally capable businesses. Literally. I guess they have to pay for those commercials and "complimentary" shuttle services somehow.

Excellent Customer Service
They were very helpful, took me to work and got my car back to me in one day. I like how they told me what it would cost to find out what was wrong then called me back with quotes on how much to fix. They kept me in the loop the whole time.
